That guy is a waste of time, money and effort. The Democrats have to back someone that actually has a chance of winning like Senator Dodd.

Michelle Obama reminds me a great deal of Jacqueline Kennedy--beautiful, smart and classy. She's definitely a big plus in Senator Obama's campaign.

I give you credit there, that she is. One of the main problems is the lack of experience. He is not ready to run a country, he is barely fit to be a Senator. This guy goes to the extreme on spending.

I've read his books pretty carefully, and while I was (and am) concerned about his limited experience, there's truly nothing that prepares one for the presidency. Normally, I'd expect my candidate to have some experience as a governor, but look what we got when we elected the last governor. :sadly:
In the best of all possible worlds, I'd wish for a Gore-Obama ticket, but at this point it seems obvious that Gore isn't interested. I heard Obama in Austin in February, and I was mightily impressed. With him, it's all [b]potential[b/], not record, but I feel confident in his ability to do well.
Perhaps the most heartening thing about his candidacy is the way he's moved straightforwardly and quickly to correct his errors, and to admit mistakes when he makes them. That seems to be a lost art among most national politicians these days.

Chris Dodd is the only Democrat with the experience needed.
Obama already is wasting tax payer's money and he isn't even in office yet. Demanding a full Secret Service Detail for himself and his family. I'm not against any candidate having that but I am against the tax payers paying for it. He should be paying for it out of his campaign, lord knows he has enough.

Actually, Governor Richardson of New Mexico has the best resume of any candidate in either party. I'd like to see an Obama-Richardson ticket.
I'm not gonna argue with you regarding your assessment of Obama because it's obvious that we'd never agree.

Biden is also a great candidate...but I read Obama's book too and I agree that Michelle Obama is reminiscent of Jackie-O.
Wow what great speech, she brings tears of hope to my eyes.

Actually, the Secret Sevice is the one that said he needs protection, not the other way around.
