I am not an American, but lived there many years before moving to Canada. I was born in India.

I was really impressed by what Mr. Ron Paul had to say, specifically about money supply, the damage to the dollar since it was de-linked from gold, debt creation, and what the US constitution is supposed to say about conducting wars in foreign lands.

I was also impressed by Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich and Bill Richardson from the Democratic platform.

I am told that neither Mr. Paul, nor the other three had a chance of beating the mainstream candidates that are supported by the "System". That'd be a pity. Perhaps these gentlement, who might have some differences in opinion on how to chart the course for the nation, I believe have all realized that the current system needs fundamental change and not window dressing, and I believe all of them have the same core belief, and are not in this race to get rich or famous. This is not a power game for them, but a genuine effort at reversing the course of a democracy increasingly hostage to big money and corporatocracy.

Perhaps such good folks from across the political spectrum should reach over the partisan line and form a combined team themselves, and galvanize the youth, who are perhaps not already entrenched into the liberal or conservative or whatever camp, and be the agent of real change.

Its a new world out there.

I wish all of America good luck in the years, decades and century ahead.
