My friend's son is a body builder. He was taking some over the counter herbal suppliments. My friend read the ingredients and told him to stop taking them, that they have the same make up of steroids and if tested, I think she said it would come up positive. This kid didn't want to risk his career with the cloud of steroid use. So he stopped. I think a similar thing happened to Bonds.

Expanding cranium size and shoe size should dispel any notion that he didn't use some form of growth enhancement.
Whether that form is illegal or against MLB rules is the only relevant question yet to be determined.

I don't think it's the fact of steroids and Barry Bonds as much as sports heroes seemingly no longer exist. I think Michael Jordan may have been the last great Sports Hero. Now they are borderline criminals (some aren't even borderline). What's next? Are they gonna start to visit Cuba and Venezuala?

Viola, as previously mentioned, Bonds admitted before a grand jury to 'accidently' taking two forms of a steroid. Now, I strongly believe he's lying about the 'accidently' part, but that is irrelevant. The man is a cheater and he has tainted the single greatest record in sports history.

I've never cheered for a Yankee before, but nothing will make me happier than A-Rod breaking that record and at the very least restoring credibility to that particular milestone.

Since MLB won't investigate it, say like the Tour de France does, all we have is opinions, DANG. This isn't important enough for Congress to really act on. And Baseball isn't "America's Sport" anymore. If it were you or I and we were truly innocent I think we'd pee in a cup and tell MLB to "do your worst!" But Bonds hasn't, either because he's Bonds and that's the man he is...or he's guilty. But without proof we only have opinions.
