As a poster where I found this said:
“I’m Mitt Romney and I support terrorist provided Universal Health Careâ€.
Now I agree with him for once, mostly anyway. But damn, I can just imagine his campaign managers faces as he said that, and the reaction of 90% of the American population if they heard it.

May we add a category to the Humor forum titled Romneyisms?

Jeeeeze, he couldn't find a better example of health care than Hezbollah?
I guess he didn't see Sicko yet.
The last thing we need is another President who says stupid things.

Yeah. Stupid is as stupid does eh? :P (Not an attack on you, Viola) The only way to get anything close to 'universal' care is to pry it from the cold dead hands of government. Who wants a system where you have to be politically connected to get anything decent? Instead, the issue needs to be resolved by removing regulations that block choice and the progress of science.

Regulations aren't blocking choice and progress of science.
The problem isn't the regulations in place to protect the citizens, the problem is that health insurers are trying to make a profit by DENYING CARE.

Wow Zo, another sexed up title with no tie to the truth?
What Romney, and I am no Romney supporter, said is that Hezbollah did that and gained support and that we could gain support doing things like that. he never said he supported Hezbollah policy.

Boogy, he did say X is what hezbollah did and that X is what we should do. So he does support that part of hezbollahs policy and thinks it would enable us to do better in the world.
As I said I mostly agree, but what a horrible, horrible analogy.

Yeah Zo, you tried to make it sound like he was for Hezbollah's policies, cmon man, you know that was what you did. :D
It is a truly stupid analogy for him to make, and you can be sure that, just as you did, there will be those on the other side of the aisle who try to make it appear that he supports Hezbollah.

I didn't try to make it appear that he supported hezbollah itself.
