These Gorebal Warming morons who believe in this crap are getting out of hand.

Here's a quote from the article. "If you produce one more editorial against climate change, I will launch a campaign against your professional integrity. I will call you a liar and charlatan to the Harvard community of which you and I are members. I will call you out as a man who has been bought by Corporate America. Go ahead, guy. Take me on."

The head of the Environmental Protection Agency says he will investigate a threatening letter sent by the leader of an EPA-member group, vowing to "destroy" the career of a climate skeptic.

During a Capitol Hill hearing yesterday, Sen. James M. Inhofe, Oklahoma Republican and ranking member of the Environment and Public Works Committee, confronted EPA Administrator Stephen L. Johnson about the strongly-worded letter written July 13 by Michael T. Eckhart, president of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) that was sent to Marlo Lewis, senior fellow of the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI).

"It is my intention to destroy your career as a liar," Mr. Eckhart wrote. "If you produce one more editorial against climate change, I will launch a campaign against your professional integrity. I will call you a liar and charlatan to the Harvard community of which you and I are members. I will call you out as a man who has been bought by Corporate America. Go ahead, guy. Take me on."

CEI does not dispute climate change, however it differs with certain environmental groups, including ACORE, on the causes. After Mr. Inhofe read Mr. Eckhart's comments, which were first reported by Inside the Beltway two weeks ago, the EPA chief promised to probe the matter.

"Statements like this are of concern to me. I am a believer in cooperation and collaboration across all sectors," Mr. Johnson assured. "This is an area I will look into for the record."

When Mr. Johnson confirmed that EPA is a member of ACORE, Mr. Inhofe asked if "it is appropriate to be a part of an organization that is headed up by a person who makes this statement."

Late yesterday, Mr. Inhofe announced he will send letters to the departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Energy, and EPA, urging them to "reconsider their membership of ACORE."

The weather channel actually threatened to fire a climatologist for not swallowing the MM GW hook line and sinker. His eyes were clear and bright while other's saw their jobs more as an instrument of the left wing agenda than disseminators of information.
Myopic morons.
He ended up keeping his job because a media firestorm started to brew and she thought it better to drop it, lie low and continue her propaganda more subtly.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. (AP) - Al Gore's son pleaded guilty Monday to possessing marijuana and other drugs, but a judge said the plea could be withdrawn and the charges dropped if he successfully completes a drug diversion program.

Authorities have said they found drugs in Al Gore III's car after the 24-year-old was pulled over on July 4 for going 100 mph in his Toyota Prius.

He pleaded guilty Monday to two felony counts of drug possession, two misdemeanor counts of drug possession without a prescription, and one misdemeanor count of marijuana possession, the district attorney's office said.

Jaime Coulter, senior deputy district attorney, said Gore's sentencing will be continued until Feb. 7. If he has complied with all the conditions of the diversion program, the sentencing will be continued again for another year, with charges possibly being dropped in 2009.

"At that point, he will be able to withdraw his guilty plea as if he never entered it," Coulter said.

Deputies who pulled Gore over said they discovered less than an ounce of marijuana and a variety of medications, including Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall. Authorities said Gore did not have a prescription for any of those medications.

Gore also was charged with a traffic infraction for speeding.

The son of the former vice president and Democratic presidential nominee was previously arrested for marijuana possession in Maryland in 2003, when he was a student at Harvard University. Gore completed substance abuse counseling to settle those charges.

He now lives in Los Angeles and is an associate publisher of GOOD, a magazine about philanthropy and aimed at young people.
Hooo Boy. Go get 'em Al, Jr! Do some good, even if it kills you.

Algore can control the climate but can't control his son.
Get him a copy of "It Takes A Village" and make him read it this time.

I have a feeling Gore the 3rd is going to be in a "village" never envisioned in Hillary's book.

Well Inhofe IS a liar, so there's nothing new about that.

Inhofe: Media invented WMD excuse for Iraq invasion.Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) on Friday:

Inhofe, speaking to the press before Cheney’s arrival, lambasted Democrats for Thursday’s Senate vote to begin withdrawal from Iraq by Oct. 1 and the press for “mischaracterizing” the reasons for U.S. involvement.

“The whole idea of weapons of mass destruction was never the issue, yet they keep trying to bring this up,” Inhofe said. […]

Pressed for an explanation, Inhofe said weapons of mass destruction were “incidental” to the decision to invade Iraq.

“The media made that the issue because they knew Saddam Hussein had used weapons of mass destruction.”

Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) in August 2002:

Our intelligence system has said that we know that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction — I believe including nuclear. There’s not one person on this panel who would tell you unequivocally that he doesn’t have the missile means now, or is nearly getting the missile means to deliver a weapon of mass destruction. And I for one am not willing to wait for that to happen. link (http://thinkprogress.org/2007/04/30/inhofe-media-invented-wmd-excuse-for-iraq-invasion/)

I was going over to vote the other day, and I was walking with two very liberal gals -- they didn't pay any attention to me being with them -- and they were outraged by something that you said, or Rush Limbaugh said. Somebody said something that upset 'em. They said, "We've got to do something about this. These are nothing but far right wing extremists. We've got to have a balance. There's gotta be a legislative fix to this."

And then later he changed his story to:

Here's the funny thing Neil, I've told this story well over 100 times on the radio, on TV, in the last three years. I was going up the elevator with them, this is about three years ago, to vote. And they are yelling and screaming and complaining about right wing radio, they're all right wing we can't let 'em keep doing thhat. There's gotta be a fix to this..." link (http://electioncentral.tpmcafe.com/blog/electioncentral/2007/jun/22/inhofe)
