I'm not sure what I am.
Republicans and Democrats both have views i like and don't like.
I'm really not sure.

Being unafilliated is the way to go. Vote in favor of the candidate who will do the best for you.
atucally i feel the nation wide movement for libertarians is bigger than the green party
so if the greens and libittarians were to get together
that would be quite a movment to see
my preception of them is they have alot of common beliefs

They can never join. The libertarian party believe in a free market society and having low government spending and regulations. The greens want a socialist society along with many many regulations and social programs for the poor = high government spending. They would never work out.

my understanding is that the greens are all about local government and personal responsibility, although they do support stuff like universal healthcare and high quality public education. but i didn't think the greens were big on central government?

I haven't read much about the Green Party but just the name suggests left wing extremist to me. Libertarian or Constitution Party gets my vote. Back to basics, and loose the big overbearing government. The Fair Tax should be implemented as well (of course, supporting Libertarian!). I don't think voting your beliefs is throwing that vote away. If everyone who thought that way would vote together, maybe things would change. We might only get 10% of the vote, but the Dems and Repubs would have to take notice.
Wealthy = Republican
Not So Wealthy = Democrat I'm in the not-so-wealthy catagory, but most Democrats can kiss me where the sun don't shine.
