The history of the 9/11 conspiracy.

I want to know if anyone has a timeline to how this conspiracy theory began. I only started to notice it when youtube got big and that video was passed around. When was it produced? How many conspiracy theorists existed BEFORE that video?

I would like to see exactly the timeline to judge the effects of the conspiracy theory itself. Does it correlate with our invasion of Iraq? What if we never invaded Iraq...would the theorists still believe 9/11 was an inside job?

That video IMHO has started it all.

The wiki page actually is a great source for all the false information in the video. The more I investigate...the more it just appears to be a kooky theory based on false and misleading information. When I first saw that video I was greatly disturbed and looked deeply for answers ...at the time there wasn't a rebuttal but now...there are sites and videos that have debunked almost all that Loose Change offers as evidence of a conspiracy.

You are totally mistaken, Labrocca. The 9/11 Truth movement began the day of or the day after 9/11.

The circumstances were so suspicious that many understood that a hidden hand had instigated this crime against America.

I like this video as an analysis of the program IN PLACE on September 11th to spin it in the proper direction.

My own recrystallization came after seeing Alex Jones video, 9/11: The Road to Tyranny in 2002.

But I already had inklings and suspicions from diverse sources before that. http://www.serendipity.li/ has been around since before that and that's where I first encountered the truth that the WTC buildings were demolished with pre-planted explosives.

And the second part of that clip and the question about bombs was a good question based on the fact that in 1993 a bomb WAS set off by Al-Qaeda in an attempt to blow up the building. The WTC was a target from Islamic Terrorist..they found an easy cheap way to attack it and it created devastating effects.

And the response by the interviewee is just common sense..the velocity of the plane and the fire creating structural weakness.

The job of the news media is to garnish attention and to question everything.

I still don't believe the conspiracy theory was begun on day one.

Now in that video the 3rd cover story discusses Bin Laden and it's 33 minutes after the attack. Guess what...at the tim Bin Laden was the #1 man on the most wanted list. I knew BEFORE the 2nd plane hit that this was a terrorist attack and NOT an accident. Within 10 seconds after the second plane hit which I personally witnessed I KNEW that is was Bin Laden. Was I part of the government conspiracy too? If they interviewed me I would have certainly named Bin Laden as the prime suspect. This was a guy that was targetting us...had already targetted the WTC prior. What's so hard to place 2 and 2 together and come up with the #1 suspect.

Do I think Bin Laden himself is resposnible for this attack...maybe not. Another Al-Qaeda person may have thought up the attack. Laden might have only financed it. He may not have even known the operation was in play. We know VERY little about the inner workings of Al-Qaeda. However Bin Laden is a top guy in Al-Qaeda and it's with certainty that this attack was from Al-Qaeda.

Read that ...1993 buddy..Bush wasn't even in office..Clinton was. If there is some sort of American Government involvment have you considered for a moment that Bush might NOT be involved? It could be the FBI..the CIA...BOTH. It could be people in the military looking to have a war to gain some metals. What proof is there that en masse our own government is the culprit? Even if someone IN the government conspired to do this...that's not the same as the government itself.

While you seem hell bent on reading and watching every piece of literature you can about 9/11 being a conspiracy how much time have you placed reading and watching videos that explain and debunk these conspiracy theories? I believe wholeheartedly that you are just convinced that 9/11 is Bush's fault and no amount of evidence to the contrary would convince you otherwise.

The 9/11 "conspiracy" started pretty much on the day. Loose Change didn't spark it off at all. From the numerous reports of bombs going off in the basement of the WTC buildings, and more bombs elsewhere, to the dodgy share dealings, Israelis being told not to go to work that day, the dancing Israelis with the moving van that had traces of explosives in it, the way the buildings collapsed, and numerous other dodgy aspects of the whole thing have had people wondering what was really going on well before the likes of youtube enabled the masses to get a side of the story out there that the corporate whores of the media were not reporting or covering up.

This is about 1 1/2 hours...so set aside some time to really watch and listen.

I would just ask people to ask questions. Where was our air force? Why did George sit for 7 minutes once told the nation was under attack? Why was the Aug 6, 2001 CIA PDF ignored by George Bush? Condi Rice has been caught lying about what she/they knew and had discussed prior to 9/11 about the potential of using aircraft as missiles, why has that not been further investigated?

I mean, there are many, many questions NEVER adequately explained. And we Americans are just going to sit back and allow the WTC buildings to be collapsed on top of over 3,000 of our fellow citizens to stand without question?

We are going to allow the neocons to manipulate 9/11 as an excuse for preemptive war on Iraq?

You just described every single conspiracy video on 9/11 I have ever watched. None seek the truth...they only display facts or conjecture that support their theory. They don't investigate anything. There is no proof...they seek people and soundbites to insert in videos that make it appear there is a conspiracy. The debunking videos simply explain the questions unanswered in the videos.

You can continue to believe whatever you want...that's your right. If you want to believe the moon is filled with cheese go right ahead.

Well you know.. I am not alone. I have a page full of links to polls done by reputable pollsters, Scripps, Zogby, Harris and more that show 1/3 to 1/2 of Americans do not buy the governments spin on what happened. They want it reinvestigated too.

So...ok, the country is about evenly divided about. I think that more and more people doubt the government story every day.

You know... here's one of the problems. The government is hugely funded and able to present its own ...theory... with documents, graphs, a timelines, stories.. evidence, it you want to believe that.

What you are complaining about labrocca, is that these films or presentations are not also providing something similar. How can they? They are up agains the most weathy, powerful government in the world that has had the ability to promote its version on a complicit, failing the people, press. Freedom of the press, my ass!!

These films and data are privately funded and generated and they are... debunking.... in major ways, the governments version in any case. How many scientists does it take to convince you that the WTC buildings... all of them, fell because of controlled demolitions?

And.. I mean, it doesn't take an Einstein to figure out that the greatest air force on the face of this earth.... was not even in the skies after those hijacks.

Iraq's tiny air force would have been though!! And so would just about any other country you can think of.

What head of ANY state you could name... would have sat for seven minutes in stony silence, after being told HIS country, the Commander in Chief's country was under attack?

PLEASE... do not use the lame, ridiculous explanation that he didn't want to upset the children. THAT is an insult to the Constitution he was elected to uphold. It was HIS DUTY to America, to remove himself immediately and get into a safe place where he could BE the CIC and do his job, like he failed to do on August 6, 2001 and thereafter. He risked throwing this country into utter chaos by sitting there. In seven minutes those who were attacking us could have bombed him and those children into obliteration! How stupid of him!!

I am not claiming 9/11 was a total inside job. But, I believe there was government ordered complicity that was put into action as soon as the hanging chads were counted and the Supremes screwed us all to hell.

One only need read Rebuilding America's Defenses (http://newamericancentury.org/RebuildingAmericasDefenses.pdf) and become familiar with the agenda of the PNAC, JINSA and AIPAC to get a sense of why and who has orchestrated an essential coups of the US government. Take a good look at their membership.

And don't call me antisemetic either because I AM part Jewish and have relatives who avoided the Holocaust by leaving Germany in the early and mid 1930's. I don't believe pointing out these orgs who have had a profound influence on US foreign policy is wrong, antisemetic or unpatriotic. Its just the opposite, imo.

Face it.. the neocons are not conservatives and they have no real interests in Republican platforms, not for the average Republican. No, their agenda is the New World Order. Remember? And George I, Mr. CIA's people picked up right where he/they left off.

9/11 was the new Pearl Harbor...and their ticket to invade Iraq... and the New Order is the westernization, with heavy USA domination, of the Middle East.
