Today is National Cancer Survivors Day. The odds are pretty high that you either know someone who has won the battle with cancer or may be one yourself. Take a moment today to let that someone know they are not forgotten.

Well I congratulated myself so many times today that my arm is sore from patting myself on the back. I had colon cancer in 1975, which was cured with simple surgery and no further treatment. In 2002, I had a couple of squamous cell carcinomas removed from my hands. And in 2004, I survived a rare form of leukemia. I'm now more than two years past it with no sign of recurrence. But the chemotherapy beat the shit out of me.
