Sorry bout that,

1. But soon if not very soon, most people will sign up to do their bill paying *Online*.
2. *The American Postal Service* is getting greedy.
3. And very soon it will cost 50 cents to mail a letter.
4. I am personally thinking of setting up all my creditors up for *Online Pay*.

Cheesy, stamps cost what they do for a couple of reasons. First is that the USPS has been on a pay as you go basis for about 20 years now. When you paid three cents to mail a letter, that was because the gummint subsidized the rest. Second, the junk mail industry and the big publications have successfully lobbied the USPS to grant them lower rates. The extra cost is being borned by you, me, and the small circulation magazines.

As to paying your bills on line, Cheesy, I think you're a couple of years behind the curve there. I've been paying nearly all my bills on line since 2004. I hardly ever write a check any more.
