How unusual for freerepublic not to give the full story.

SACRAMENTO — A state senator who police say drove erratically for 16 miles before slamming into a stopped car revealed Wednesday that she may have been impaired by medication to combat leukemia.
Wednesday, Migden told the San Francisco Chronicle that she was diagnosed with leukemia in 1997 and told she was unlikely to live more than five years. She said she never publicly revealed the illness because she did not want to be pitied and that she was told in February she was disease-free.
She has been taking chemotherapy pills since 2000, according to the newspaper's account, which was confirmed by Migden's office.http://www.latimes.com/news/local/politics/cal/la-me-migden24may24,1,7170103.story?coll=la-news-politics-california

Well, my thoughts are that leukemia is more respectable than whatever a person gets for sleeping with someone of the same sex and writing laws to legalize such unions...just a thought.

Hey thanks for the Blues clues! I put them in my special Blues Clues notepad and came up with, someone that advocates for domestic partnership, !!GASP!! Not even marrigage, that seems so sacred!! so that children born to unwed mothers may have a home deserve to get leukemia as punnishment.
Praise the Lord!

Lily, yours is a more insightful comment than the one I insinuated.
