I think this is the most intriguing campaign ad I've ever seen.
I saw that yesterday. I'm teling you if he's got this much imagination, I just might vote for him.

Bill Richardson is the best candidate the libs have. If democrats want to have any chance to break the 20 out of 28 year record of abscence from the White House they better hitch their ride to this candidate.
If I was forced to vote for democrat it would be Bill Richardson.
We're in agreement on this one. Richardson's problem is he doesn't do well in front of the camera and when the focus is on either Edwards hair, Mc Cains sweaters, or Clinton's cleavege or lack there of, issues and experience doesn't seem to have a chance.

I don't get the whole "doesn't do well in front of the camera" thing Lily. If the guy has some good ideas and leadership qualities that should outshine any kind of camera presence deficit he might have.

You would think so, but in this image conscience world, looks mean more than content. I even said it on the first debates, he made me nervous just looking at him......but he is extremely qualified. If the Democratic nominee didn't snatch him up for VP, then would be fools. He'd also guarentee the Hispanic vote.

I don't know, Lily. I thought Richardson was charismatic in his own way. He reminds me a little of Fred Thomas. Both are straight talkers who don't get into the fluff but still manage to have charisma and a likeability factor.
Think Nixon/Kennedy debates.
Even in that one brilliant commercial that I saw him in, he looks very nervous. I wish looks didn't count, but it seems they do to "the powers that be" and I honestly don't know why he's having such a hard time making a breakthrough.
