How cute... I bet they rearranged everything in the cabinet. Thanks for sharing! Good picture!

Reminds me of my rats. Everytime I clean their cage they have to go in and rearrange everything to their liking. I had one that, everytime I replaced the hammock at the top of the cage, she would immediately rip it open, pull out the stuffing, and then carry it piece by piece down to a small house on the bottom floor of the cage. When she had enough stuffing to cover the house she would arrange it so that none of the floor was exposed. She only put stuffing in the house, and only took just enough to get the job done. She also would toss out the old stuffing if there was any, and if it had been there for a while.

One time I tried giving her more stuffing a day after she refloored her house, but she wouldn't take it. She would only take it after the floor in her house got too dirty.

Smart rat. She knows the way she likes it.

Pookie that's adorable. But your honey is black!

rats? Whaaaaa?

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but they're popular pets, and the most intelligent and sociable of all small pets. The one on the left is the one I mentioned earlier:

Her names Ryoko and she died about a year and a half ago due to cancer. She was by far the smartest one I've had. She was a blue (actually looks grayish blue) dumbo (since the ears are round and towards the side of the head) rat.

The one on the far right, Felix, died about 2 weeks ago due to a pituitary tumor. This was taken when I first tried to introduce him to them, he was terrified and didn't get along with them (he hadn't been with other rats before, and rats are very social and shouldn't be kept alone). I ended up putting him with another group of rats. The one in the middle, Lychee (she loved Lychee's) died about 2 and a half years ago, though the cause wasn't known.

Here's a site explaining more about rats http://www.rmca.org/

And if you want the cute side:

You let cats run around in your cabinets where there is food?

That's pretty freakin gross.

Here's a good mouse vid since you all brought it up.

Stoner, it's really sick that you get off seeing animals die, though I'm surprised you went with one of your tamer ones this time. Either way, I'll leave it so that others see what a class act you are.
