At best, ten percent of the American population, about 30 million people, could be the last supporters of the American dream of individual liberty. They represent about one-half percent (0.5%) of the world’s population. It is just a very small number aware of the ideals of liberty. Ordinary people having a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of legitimate self-interest started that American dream in New England. It resulted in America being the most prosperous nation in the world, providing the greatest happiness for the greatest number. People could think, dream and chase their own aspirations. They created and produced wild and crazy methods and tools to improve everyone’s lives. Acceptance of that American dream has been dying in America, and not well known in other nations. The desire of most in the world is to pick the bones of America clean and spread the wealth around, rather than learning from it and adopting it. Are half-percenters getting too old to care anymore? Have they lost the urge to fight?
