The fascist mindset in Amerca steam rolls over Carol Fisher, 51, who becomes another casualty of the New World Order, as freedom of speech is a thing of the past.

Rally for Carol Fisher set for CoventrYard; trial set for Monday

Thursday, April 20, 2006

By Jeff Sikorovsky

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS _ Dozens of supporters are expected to attend a speak-out event in support of Carol Fisher from 5-6 p.m. Saturday at the CoventrYard mini-park on the southwest corner of Coventry Road and Euclid Heights Boulevard.

Fisher said someone is trying to get a city permit for the event, as the CoventrYard mini-park is city property, despite the fact it is open to the public.

But Fisher added, It's an informal thing even though it's being publicized.

Two days later, Fisher is to stand trial on two counts of assault on a police officer following an incident Jan. 28 on Lee Road.

The trial is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Monday in Judge Timothy J. McGinty's courtroom on the 21st floor of the Justice Center in downtown Cleveland.

Fisher has pleaded not guilty to the assault charges and has been very vocal over the past two months proclaiming her innocence.

Fisher, 53, a political activist for the World Can't Wait: Drive the Bush Regime Out movement, was arrested after police stopped her from hanging signs on utility poles along Lee, which is illegal here.

You'll notice that the Cleveland Plain Dealer has an entirely different, ie... factual, account of her case.

*You know something? The Right Wing conservatives of this country absolutely amaze me!*

Oh I see now. It's OK to put religious effigies out on public property , but if one tries to place signs up--a practice of freedom of speech, nonetheless--the Right-Wings declares it to be illegal?

Also consider this: you can have a conservative judge (http://www.somareview.com/printarticle.cfm?datekey=20041216) wear a robe with the 10 commandments written on it, but you can not have a shirt depicting freedom of speech over the dislike of a president?

Indeed! What a bunch of hypocrites!

Maybe this should be remembered the next time someone posts a link to frontpagemag or other similar sites.

At least they're not covering the existence of aliens on Earth.

The Art Bell crowd, or hell, this kook, aren't legitimate news sources.

Why not just post from the Weekly World News.

RLN, if you're going to link to stuff, like your second link as well decrying right wing judges, keep it from legit sources okay?

I sincerely apologize. I saw it as information, and I thought it was interesting so I posted it. I didn't notice that in your rules section. I do not know how I could have missed it.

And you may be right or wrong about that site having any substance--I tend not to judge those sort of things without proper proof. However, I think the implications of being a kook was uncalled for, Sir.
