Just following up on my comments from Fox's poll. So what is your marital status? I am married with two beautiful little girls, one 8 years old, and one is six.

Upon further reflection, I've also decided to add that I'm from Corpus Christi, Texas, a moderate city of approximately 300,000. I find that a lot of liberals tend to be from large cities, so that might be interesting to add if you choose to do so. I think the conservative is the more "laid back" sort, and Corpus is a laid back town and on the conservative side, Jimmy Buffet style, hence my motto, "no shoes, no shirt, no problem". Ahhhh.... Life on the Redneck Riviera. Want a towel on a chair in the sand by the sea........

I've only been in SD since 1999. I grew up in the Deep South.

Been a Liberal since I was 6. Converted the wife to the correct side of the aisle 20 years ago. Then converted her mother as well. Show me another son-in-law that has changed his mother-in-law's mind on anything. Damn! I'm good!

49 years young, married 27 years with two grown kids. The kids know that compassion and honesty are terribly important in life so they practice them in every day life so I would say they tend to lean liberal.

We'll celebrate our 50th anniversary in December. I'm 71, she's 72 (an older woman!:P). We have two kids, both in their 40s, and five grandchildren ranging in age from 3 to 14 years. We are those terrible creatures, liberal parents, and it's worked so far. I suppose I should be waiting for the other shoe to drop, huh? But my kids have been married 21 and 17 years.

Aww, Congratulations!

I am currently single, but a little young to be married. Someday I would like to be a mother.

Affiliation: I think more like a democrat, but I am not registered... Other than sharing points and some views with them, I am independant.
