I"m not taking that test.Â*Â*It's 'tarded.Â*Â*It equates Libertarian with anarchist, which means the test's author is ignorant, and then it mixes libertarianism with the Right.

lol, its a great test. Go take a standard left/right test where stalin and gandhi score the same then  . Just because you go a few points towards anarchism doesn't mean you are an anarchist, it just means that you would like less government in some areas. A few towards authoritarianism means you like more rules. How about you take the test and see where it ranks you. Your score left and right has nothing to do with your score up and down, your up and down score measures social issues and left and right scores your views on economic issues. Read the better description on the website, take a look at the professional feedback link too. Saying the test is "tarded" just because you havent read the explaination is a completely ignorant and an outright stupid statement.

I already know where I stand, I don't need a computer to tell me. The problem with any test like this is the bias of the bias of the writer.

I'm libertarian. Period. As I pointed out, libertarianism isn't anarchist. Any test that equates the two is seriously flawed.

At the same time, any test trying to identify libertarians that a question like this:

"Do you support women's reproductive freedom to have abortions?"

is biased.

Now, the Libertarian Party "libertarians" say "yes". What they're basing that on is unclear. THIS libertarian, me, says that life begins at conception and thus women do not possess the right to exercise their "reproductive freedom" at the expense of killing another individual.

It would take one hell of a sophisticated test to sort that out, since the apparent principal disagreement isn't about freedom and indivduals but about when something should be considered an individual and thus when it's rights and freedom matter.

I don't want this discussion to devolve into an abortion thread, if anyone wants to discuss that, they should bring it up in the proper thread, okay?

liberalism is not communism, but communism is the most extreme form. Same with libertarianism/anarchism, conservatism/neo-liberalism, authoritarian/fascism.

My score:

Economic Left/Right: -8.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.18

Exactly communism is the most extreme form.

This test is not relating communism or libertarianism with anarchism or authoritarianism. Just because you score one point down towards anarchism doesnt mean you are an anarchist, it means you favor less government in some areas. It is showing your thoughs on economics the X axis and your thoughts on social issues Y axis. Sure, it might not be absolutely perfect, but its the best test I could find.

I've taken the test several times and I always score the same. I'm dead centrist with just a tiny move authoritarian and right. Otherwise, I'm about as moderate as you can get.
