Rats!

I've had pet rats for 9 or 10 years now. They make great pets, intelligent, docile, love people and love being held. I still remember one time I was lying down with a pillow on the couch while petting one of my rats, Ryoko. I was very tired and I fell asleep, I woke up about 3 hours later to find Ryoko sleeping on the pillow, right next to my head.

Its like Crufts, 'cept for rats.

I felt kind of sorry for them in those small containers at the beginning, with only straw in them.

Those were transport cages. The ones I use to take mine to the vet aren't much bigger.

We used to have a problem with rats on the edge of our property.Â*Â*Every now and then at night you'd see one on the fence.Â*Â*

I was going to break out one of my handguns with the silencer but decided that may be a bad idea considering there is a house on the other side of the fenceline.Â*Â*I'm an excellent shot but just in case.....

It was then my neighbor brought over a BB gun.Â*Â*The accuracy sucked but once I got the hang of it picking off those nasty, dirty creatures spawned from Hell was no problem.Â*Â*The best part was no more rats.

This is the only way I like to see rats and mice.
