I'm not actually George W. Bush. Thats just the screen name.
As a regular at PoliticalCrossfire.com, I enjoy discussion of political topics.
Being a libertarian at heart, I am not sure what to expect here.
Anyway, the rules are a bit more stringent here than they are at PCF.
Will see how it all goes.
I do not support the President on issues like terrorism, society, or foreign policy. I do support the president on things like tax breaks, some social programs, and gun rights.
Look forward to interacting with you all.
Thanks

You really think our rules are stringent?
And welcome to the site. I hope you post regularly. We could use more libertarians here to discuss their views.
What's your stance on immigration?

Hi Labrocca,
I read the rules and they seem more stringent. I havent tried to, for example, curse or passionately disagree with someone. Which seems will get you warned.
At any rate, the immigration debate, I feel, leaves something to be desired. I wonder: what impact is immigration having on me personally?
Government would do well to publish the financial impact, and/or the burden immigration has on our health care system (which doesnt turn away the ill).
So, i'm not that concerned over it. I think it's flattering that people would violate the law to enjoy or civilization. Immigrants are not these incestuous demons who want to suck us all dry, as some would consider them.
This post was too long. but I wanted to thoroughly respond.
Thanks for the welcome, I look forward to posting.

Fuck Shit have word censors on them so the search engines don't think we are an adult site. And the rule is excessive cursing...sometimes people go overboard with no reason. Passionate disagreement is encouraged as long as you don't personally attack the other person.
As for immigration..I really agree. I think more studies should be done to explore the impact because from what I have read there are positive and negative effects that seem to cancel each other out. I think immigration is a bullshit topic sort of like gays in the military...well maybe a bit more important.

I think the rules listed are essentially a case of our bark being worse than our bite. Don't needlessly use racist language, spam, or other things you wouldn't normally do, and you'll be fine.
