Remember those thoughtful, intelligent, well researched ideas Rosie discussed on the 'View' the other day?

Well I don't either. However I do remember her rambling unintelligently spewing out mindless, liberal-infested conspiracy theories...especially about 9/11 and WTC 7.

Looks like Popular Mechanics decided to respond to her specifically. Here's a site with PM debunking this garbage.

Popular Mechanics has been quite handily wiping the walls with the 9/11 "truthers" for quite some time now.

PM is full of it. Other buildings around WTC 1&2 suffered far more damage and were engulfed in raging infernos, yet they didn't collapse freefall style in their own footprint. They were "pulled" later. Also the article says the WTC fires weakened the steel, not melted it, but that fails to explain pools of molten metal found at the base of the towers.
There are a lot of debunkings of PM articles out there and they blow their assumptions right out of the water.

The other buildings are not nearly as tall or weighty. That might have something to do with it. As a former NYer and a person that worked right next to the WTC for 3 years...I can tell you that the damage done to WTC7 was certainly enough to have it collapse.

Either it's all a conspiracy or NONE of it is a conspiracy. You would need hundreds possibly thousands of people in on this and all keeping their mouths shut. Yeah right...and President Clinton couldn't even get a BJ without someone finding out about it. Bullcrap.

The articles written by PM are pretty definitive and used fairly extensively to debunk "truther" hogwash about the US taking down the towers.
