Hi,

I've recently launched the new organization Human Diversity and Freedom Fund http://www.hdff.org/ It's non-partisan issues, the theme being to unite on common moral grounds. This is a sincere effort. I am basically discussing the organization on various internet forums to see if people are interested in continuing this project, or if it's something that I should just let die. I've done the Trademark filing, copyright filing, ficticious business name, profesional web design and VBulletin forum setup, and set out the architecture of the organization. The only think left is filing for non-profit status.

The organization needs writers on topics such as terrorism, freedom, democracy, anti-semitism, and similar topics. Local chapters are also being sought. I am open to any type of cooperation; the alternative is that the organization will just die off. For example, if this forum wanted to get involved, I would be very open to such senarios. I would also be open to a severe mocking for having the Chutzpah to post this thread, or to even start such an ambitious project:D

Regards.

Hello, thanks for responding. I gave up on this thread when I got no responses, but doing a search for my website on Google to see if it was archived in their database, I came across this thread again and found your reply. I'll email you right now, thanks.

I was wondering though, what is the Libertarian stance on the issues HDFF supports? HDFF is geared towards the non-partisan mainstream, and some projects and offshoots of the projects may not follow the Libertarian paradigm with regards to the minimum government involvement supported by Libertarianism. For example, one project deals with recognition for police officers, but Libertarianism does not agree with the issue of coersion used by police officers to enforce laws that the Libertarian Party does not support. So would there not be a conflict of interest?

Regards.

There doesn't have to be, really. Are these officers being rewarded for fighting real crime, such as rape, murder, fraud, etc. rather than victimless crimes such as drug policy, sexual relations, etc? If so, this is totally cool. As long as you're not looking to pass a law about something, you have my support!
