Yeah, but if I have to click on something then I lose my whole post and we wouldn't want that, would we?

Or depending upon what browser and version you could open multiple browser tabs.

For some reason, I lose what I've written if I stop to check a fact, even (I think) with multiple instances of Firefox. The software used for DF seems to be the only forum software in which this happens. Or perhaps because I don't have to open a separate instance of Firefox on the other forums I participate in. It can be very frustrating to have written a short essay and lose it.

Other aspects of the forum software are OK, but that "feature" makes it a bummer.

Do you open a new tab in Firefox and then switch back and forth between tabs when this happens?

When I remember to, I do. But this is the only forum that requires that. None of the others do.

Some new smiles would be nice, not everyone wants to take them time to get them the other way. Most boards have more, if we want to compete with them and attract members would should do the same. Not the biggest deal in debate but smiles are nice for expressing emotion, sarcasm, whatever, whatever.
