Is anyone here into casts (podcasts and such)? Would anyone be into having a show with me that we could record and release weekly. Something maybe 30-45 minutes long.
I am considering the idea. I have a friend with a very successful cast (cagcast) for videogames. I was on his show this week and it's something pretty fun to do and get into.
Let me know your ideas about this.

That's fine but I want to be a special part of the show. I get to stand off-stage and anytime ECW lies or says something stupid I get to run on-screen screaming like an Apache and hit ECW over the head with a frying pan.

Ya, doing it for chess as well would probably be overkill. It would get old after a few hundred times.

Only if I get to do the same to chess. I'd have to be granted immunity, in case chess died from blunt-force trauma, of course.

I don't have to worry about that with ECW. He has no brain matter. He's all skull. Hurting him with head trauma is not a possibility.

To answer one of your questions, no you don't need an ipod to listen to podcasts, all you need is the itunes plugin from quicktime which is free.

Actually I don't mind O'Reilly. I like to watch him, and then Matthews. They seem to balance each other out, you get both extremes. Although Billo did piss me off with his remarks on how the kidnapped boys were enjoying themselves.

I can't speak for Boogy but with an "On-the-fly" podcast of exchanges, I have no problem admitting I would do lousy.
I am not a great public speaker in the least. I helped the debate team at my high school many years back do research on topics, but there was no way I could do on the stage or camera debating.
