I think it's weird they haven't had a movie yet.

I hope they manage to get some good writers for this. Maybe with the big budget of a movie, they'll be able to get some of the original writers back to work on it. Maybe then it'll be worth seeing. Otherwise, its probably going to stink as badly as the past several seasons have.

I lost interest in the Simpsons many years ago. I think they have pretty much run their course IMO, but I know that is not the view others have obviously.

I do remember however, when they first came about on the Tracy Ulman Show.
