Global idiots: The ones that think Global Warming only has to do with Warming and not with Global Climate Change.

And the biggest idiots of all are those who think it's useless to try to save some part of our national resources.

Then do us all a favor and put your money where your mouth is. Be like Ed and leave the rest of us alone. You take care of your little patch of grass and I'll take care of mine.

Massive amounts of gas are emitted during volcanic eruptions, including H2O, CO2 and SO2 - in that order of abundance – plus many others. The H2O has very little impact on climate, while the SO2 has a significant net cooling effect because it is converted to liquid and solid sulphate aerosols in the atmosphere – and the aerosols reflect some of the incoming sunlight back into space. The CO2 has the potential to promote climate warming because of the greenhouse effect, but research on historical eruptions has not shown this to be the case.

Now how much is a massive amount of Co2? I want numbers, besides the cars of one state proably expell more Co2 then a volcano does. And we droive cars eveyrday, a volcanno doesn't usually arubt every single day.

I love this stuff...
Let's look in detail at the problems with your stinging rebuke of Global Warming.

1) Very little support
If you actually read this article (which is interesting), you'll see that the entire thing is based upon two (2) whole studies.Â*Â*We currently have over 2500 studies supporting Global Warming.

2) Your logic:Â*Â*A few scientists were wrong once in the past, so they must all be wrong now.

Doctors in the past have used everything from leeches to bleeding to drilling holes in your skull in order to cure patients.

Do you go to a Doctor now, when you are sick?Â*Â*Of course.Â*Â*
Why?Â*Â*Because we know more now than we did then and our medical knowledge is much more refined.Â*Â*
Are doctors always right?Â*Â*No.Â*Â*
Are 1000's of doctors who all say the same thing always right?Â*Â*No, but the vast majority of the time they are.

3)Â*Â*We have computers now.

We didn't do very detailed, very advanced computer simulations of climate back then because we didn't have the computers to do it on.

You can go on believing that you know more than almost all the world's scientists using the best supercomputers in the world, but I think you are wrong.

For what it's worth, I've had a hybrid vehicle since May of 2004. And I'm working to make my home more energy efficient. New windows will be going in this summer. WTF are you doing?

I'm finding new ways to deplete the ozone.:D If I can get it right, I'll try to burn a hole in the ozone right above your house. Perhaps I can give you a high dose of radiation??? Who knows? I'll give it a try anyway.

Please let me know if you feel warmer than usual in the near future... ok?:P

Mean while here in New Zealand everyone is frying from UV radiation from the hole in the ozone layer that everyone forgot about...they were supposed to send rockets up there with ozone in it 15 years ago to fix it...

No, no, see the ozone layer is too big, and we humans are way down here on the surface. There is no way we can control the upper atmosphere, right GW skeptics? Of course I guess it helps to ignore the studies showing that we CAN and HAVE depleted ozone in some places, but I'm sure you can find a study funded by the aerosol industry that shows otherwise.
