Sorry bout that,

1. Hello guests, but it was a hard work day today.
2. I supervised the pouring of 90 yards of concrete today on one of my properties.
3. That's a lot of concrete.
4. Turned out great!
5. The damn pump truck, was an hour and a half late.
6. They had to rent lights, so they could see to finish.
6. Didn't start getting the mud down till almost 2pm.
7. Just got home at 10pm Texas time.

1. But its been a rather slow day for posts Guests.
2. Was busy all day, getting my concrete finished up.
2. a)They took down the forms, did some small patches , moved the machines etc. back to their truck, and took them with them.
3. Just about done folks, just need to get the asphalt inserted at the approach tomorrow.
4. I already paid the guy in full, and am trusting him to come and finish the job.
5. He seems reliable, old guy, has been in the biz for 50 years.
6. Little bit of gossip for you.
7. These old cement workers argue like hell.
8. The boss is like 80 years of age, he told one of his worker who is 65, he says, "Cream that wall back there, and detail it,", translation, Go down behind that bridge there, and prime the wall and slime it with mortar, then brush it, etc.
9. The older dude, said, hell no I ain't going down there and doing that, you ain't paying me enough.
10. All hell broke loose, the boss said," Man you go down there and do as I say or you know where you can start walking."
11. He kept arguing, saying," Man , I'm 65, I ain't going down there man!"
12. The boss said, "Look who's job is this, I hired you right?"
13. He said, "Yeah, but I ain't being paid enough to do that".
14. The Boss said, " Look I ain't got ta listen to this from you, if you don't like what you be gettin paid, you go sit down, I don't care if your tired or whatever"
15. Then he says, " Look I ain't worken for you's, you's either get to work like I say, or you get walking!"
16. Finally the workers, he says, " Okay I will go and do, I don't wanta do that!"
17. So he went over on down the the bridge area, where there was a beam put in place and detailed it.
18. Later in the day, all hell broke out between him and one of the Bosses son's.
19. Now his son is kinda mental, and hasn't been taking his mental aids, some kind of pills.
20. Anyway, he was taunting the old worker, lets call him Jerry, cause that's his name.
20. The old man was gone to give a bid to a customer who drove up and asked for a quote,, The old man went in this customers old pick up, and went down the road somewhere, nobody knew, except the old man.
21. Anyway, Mullet, tells him and his half brother Benny," Hey you guys, The Old man told me you two to load the smoothers up on the truck."
22. The old guy Jerry says "Hell no I ain't hurten my damn back, I don't lift's me no smoothers up on no damn trucks, you can fire me first i ain't gona do'es it"
23. Then, Mullet he says "Hey you ain't gona have to worry about after this job!"
24. That makes Jerry mad, as hell!
25. He says, " Hey man I will quite first before I lift's no damn smoother up onto the truck!"
26. Mullet he says, Okay man you quite if you want, after this job anyways, you ain't gotta worry about it!"
27. He saidÂ*Â*" Okay I quit's!
28. And he went to the truck and sat down.
29. When the Old man got back, he was hollering, out in the street, 'Now you's shut the up!, when his son came over and started accusing Jerry of this or that, it was a huge squabbles.
30. It was quite a soap opera.
31. Anyway they were almost done, and wrapped it up and I paid The Boss what I owed him.
32. Yes they are a black crew, and the names have been changed to protect the innocent, except Jerry's and Bennys.

Sorry bout that,

1. But the concrete guy came today, and finished the job, added the asphalt to the leading edge of my driveway.
2. He's done, Jerry was there and Mullet too, they were all getting along fine today, perhaps getting paid yesterday got them all happy.
3. I didn't ask, for fear of setting one of them off.
4. Anyway, they did a great job, looks great, is drying now.
5. Also had time to start a fine job of my own, may take a while before I finish it.

1. But the concrete is looking great.
2. I have been cleaning up the edges, and removing the extra over flow concrete, and putting dirt next to the edges.
3. Now I need to build the Garage.
4. It will be something like 20'x60' in size.
5. Its a lot of work, but all good things take work, they don't build themselves.

2. Yeah its a slow post count today.
3. Been real busy on a big job.
4. While I plan the next stage of my latest commercial project.
5. Where I recently had a butt load of concrete poured.
6. Its looking great.
7. Its 3000 psi concrete, which is rather hard stuff.
8. Got a little more work to do, cleaning it up around the edges, with some pour over stuff.
9. Been really busy lately, when I have more time I can post more often.
10. Also American Idol was on tonight.
