I saw this story and was a bit horrorfied, but it makes me wonder if this fetus was alive, would it be concidered abortion to Christians if it were removed? If you were a Christian man and it was happening to you, would you have it removed from your body if it could not survive outside your body and was alive? Would you concider it murder if you had it cut out?

I would not consider it murder. I think it would be an abortion, and I would do it. A pregnent man would have lots of problems and complications.
And I bet he gets Disney if it is carried to term.

I certainly wouldn't want to have that conjoined twin growing inside of me even if it wasn't a risk to my health. However the argument that Christians give for being against abortion is that they believe it is murder to take a human life. This twin may be a malformed human life, but it is still very much human and alive as a fertilized egg. If you are a man and want to have this twin removed, how is this different for women who want to have an abortion? The pregnancy is also potentially life threatening to a woman as it was this man. The life in a womans womb is just as human as this twin in the man's abdomen. If you are a pro-life man and decide to have this abortion, would you not be just as guilty as the women who also want control over their own bodies?
Interesting question, underdawg. I also notice that there is no pro-life people touching this.

Sorry bout that,
1. But I saw the film, wasn't a baby or person.
2. Sad the Neo-Libs want to cook this into what it isn't.
3. Man can't give birth.

It was as much a baby or a person as a fetus is about 6 weeks. In fact more so, because this fetus grew as the man grew. It was a living thing. Sure it was deformed, but according to the pro-lifers, that shouldn't make any difference.

Pro-lifers want to demand that women keep growing human life inside of them. The fetus and fertilized eggs have just as much sensitivity to pain as this twin had. You can not deny this is not a human. If it had not been putting pressure on this man's diaphram, it could still continue to live within this man's body. Christians use this excuse to say that a woman can not have an abortion because it is murder and taking of human life. How is this different? This twin would never be cute and cuddly as a baby, but it was still innocent human life. I say that if a man has the right to have this life taken from his body, then so should a woman if she so chooses.

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that pro-lifers are not so concerned with innocent life as much as they like to punish people for having sex. It all makes sense to me. The two words that pop out here are sex and punishment. I think the reason that no one seems to care about the death of this twin is because this man didn't have sex to have this life in his body. Women on the other hand have sex and are probably guilty in the mind of Christians and she needs to be punished by keeping the baby to full term.
I believe that all these topics are related. Homosexuality, the death penalty, war. Christians claim to be pro-life and say "thou shalt not kill", but I think it all comes down to punishment , revenge and especially punishment for having sex.
Why do they justify going to war? To either have revenge or to punish those who have wronged us. Why do they favor the death penalty? I think revenge. Why are they so outspoken against abortion? I think because they want to punish the woman for having sex that is not intended for procreation. Why is the Catholic church against contraseptives? To punish people for having sex not intended for procreation. Why do Christians hate homosexual marriage? Not because of the children. That is just a lame excuse. It all comes down to punishment.
This twin is not an issue because it did not involve this man having sex , nor is it about punishment for a sin. This life just as innocent, just as valid as a fetus, it is not important, because it can not be used to place blame because of sexual misconduct.
I think you may be on to something here, underdawg. It sure would explain the lack of discussion by most of those that are very vocal about abortion.

Perhaps it is a hidden ugly truth that exists within the heart of the Christian religion. This life is insignificant because it doesn't serve to punish the guilty.

Sorry bout that,
1. But if the malformation that occurred inside of this man was alive, and a virtual person, it would of been a miracle.
2. It wasn't, so it was a weird thing that took place.
3. Many moral issues are linked, because morality has a shared border.
4. All sin is flesh based.
5. On the most part.
6. There isn't a grand scheme to ignite hatred towards homosexuals.
7. That is a constant hatred, woven into creation at the begining.

I read somewhere that it tends to happen a lot, but usually the twin is absorbed by the other twin and dies.

Heres my point of view:
If that life could have been saved and was not then it is wrong, if that life could not be saved then there is nothing you can do.
Why Am I Pro-Life, I would be Pro-Life if it was your Life and it was up to me if you lived or Died. I would be Pro-Life if a Men I hate pulled a gun out on him self and shot him self and almost died, Pro-Life is not just about the poor baby but about Life in full. You only have one life and its worth more then anything you can ever buy or sale, so if thinking every one has the right to Life is Pro-Life why ain't you?

I can't speak on every war, But we fight for the right so others my have life. I wish there was no wars at all, if we could all life in this world as we should. But there are Men who wish to kill, and with this we can die or fight. I say fight if needed, something time if a men how great power he must protect the men who are weak. I'm not pro-war, if its needed then we must do what we must do.
