I do admire the coordinated attacks by the Democrats though. Pelosi is caught in a bald faced lie, so she starts rumors about a secret CIA plot, meanwhile Eric Holder mulls over whether or not to prosecute Bush Admin for "war crimes"...

Actually, it was the lie that the CIA told and the hastily manufactured "evidence" that was supposed to show that she was briefed on waterboarding (but didn't) along with the CIA chief's admission that Congress wasn't told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth that started all this. The floodgates were opened.

Besides, for those of you who are historically challenged, republicans controlled Congress 7 years ago and they were not launching investigations into anything. They were rubber stamping Bush's agenda. Even if Democrats wanted to start one they would not have been able to without a majority vote and that wasn't happening.
