Via is one of my fav tech companies and they love seeing how small and low power they can get.

They have been tops with the mini form factors over the years. Many hobbyists buy their boards and low power processors and assemble machines in toasters and other such odd chassis.

I bought one of their mini boards once to play with and was actually pretty impressed with the performance. I wound up using it in a ladder logic simulator for programming several different types of PLCs.

itty bitty + fast = cool

Is it just me, or is there no place to put ram on that thing?

The pico-ITX is the last board discussed in this video. It appears that the RAM is most likely in a fixed format on the board itself.
