When China and India tie on to environmental agreements the rest of the world is expected to abide by I might start saying the American government should be doing the same.

I don't think when it comes to the environment we should be taking the lead from China or India..they should follow us in the matter. I am a bit more of an environmentalist that you might expect. I actually like trees.

Yeah, playing follow the leader behind any nation on any issues is bad policy for America. We're supposed to be the leaders and set the bar high for others to aspire too.

When it comes to the environment and issues like clean and renewable energy, we sadly trail the rest of the world... even the third world.

As someone who loves to be a proud American, that hurts to know.

how do we know these polar ice caps are not melting because we forgot to replenish the ozone layer 15 years ago by launching those rockets up to the south pole with fresh ozone...or has everyone forgot. It may not be co2 induced global warming that will flood the world, but forgetfulness…
