I got whacked in the rear of my car by some dingbat on a cell phone hogging my bumper. I had to slow down quickly because someone pulled out in front of me from a side road and BANG!!
Idiots!

Hang up and drive! or
Get outta my tailpipes. There's nothing up in there to interest you anyway.
Not you people, the moron who hit me. Just ranting.

Pookie, this sounds like you have been riding in my care with me. I cannot remember how many times in a single day I catch myself muttering "hang up and drive."

This is why I always carry my trusty cell phone jammer. If you don't have one I highly reccomend buying one. They are freakin great. The best part about them are the looks on the dolt's face as he tries to figure out what in the hell is going on.

I should mention that cell phone jammers are illegal in the US but you can still find them.

When someone starts to ride my bumper, I tend to go slower and slower. If they give me room then I tend to speed up a bit more. I think it is perfectly fine to have a cell phone in a car as long as you are not talking on it.

I actually use my cell phone a lot in my car. Most of the time it's work related. The big difference is I can drive and talk at the same time. Most people out there can barely just drive let alone add another activity into the fray.

Sorry bout that,

1. But I too drive while talking on one of my many cell phones.
2. I got a blue tooth too.
3. Love it.
4. I think driving and talking on a cell phone is my business.
5. Not some other red neck who wants me to do something that they do.
6. Focus on the road because they can't do two things at the same time, because they have limited capacity.
7. I can multi task while driving, go online, send some emails, do some texting, eat a sandwich while doing it, if needed comb my hair, write some notes for my businesses, taking names and numbers in my contact list, all the while chatting on the phone, while driving.

I can talk on the phone fine while driving, as long as I'm not dialing or have to make any hard turns which never seems to happen. Always gota make a turn and put the phone in my lap.

Sorry, but I am laughing. The lady who hit me said the same as you just did and she is paying over $1900 for damages to my car. She said the almost exact same thing in your last 2 items there and the cop charged her with following too close and failure to yield. What a hoot!
Not to be rude, but when you are behind the wheel of a 2000-pound vehicle that can kill and hurt people, perhaps it may be best to forget everything and just drive. Very simple conception. You will hurt fewer people by doing this.

I have seen the idiots who are driving while talking on their cell phone.

They are going slower than other people are in the same lane because they are distracted.

They slowly swerve over into my lane while talking.

They change lanes without looking.

Whenever I come across one of them I let my super-loud juiced up horn rip for about five seconds to wake them up and get them to pull over to finish their oh-so-important conversation before they kill somebody by being so stupid.

On the rare occasion that I answer the phone while I am driving, I always tell them that I'll call them right back and hang up. I find a place to pull over and then call them back.

I wish there was a law here in Texas that banned talking on the cell phone while driving and if you are found to have been on the phone and caused an accident that your insurance company does not have to pay for any damages. You shoulder the burden alone. THAT would get people to shut up and drive.

1. But maybe Pookie you hit the brakes after looking through you rear view mirror, and caused the wreck?
2. Maybe you noticed she was on the phone, and you decided like a red neck phone hater to lock up your brakes to teach her a lesson?
3. Maybe I am correct eh?
4. Tell the truth in this matter, we won't tell anyone.
5. Perhaps I am wrong, but I could be correct just as easily.
6. Some people thinks its their mission to stop all cell phone usage on the road ways, which is hilarious!
