Can we have a health news board? It would be good for birth control, obesity, smoking, AIDS, abortion, all hot ticket issues today that sometimes don't fit in very well elsewhere.

Im not so sure about a "Health News Board" but some sort of "Health Board" would be good.

It's a good idea but I don't think it would be needed just yet. Current News is generic enough to cover health issues. It's not overflowing with threads yet so let's just keep things as they are for now. In time though it may be a good sub-forums.

This is kind of funny - I was found a story about diabetes that I wanted to post, and was trying to decide which forum was the most appropriate. So, I did a ctrl-F search for 'health' on the front page, and what do I find? :P

Anyway, put me down as a 'seconded' for a 'Health and Medicine' forum. Of course, I'm somewhat obsessive about classifying things...

A science and research board, which includes health, archaeology, chemistry etc. may not be a bad idea.
