They say that newly appointed Georgian minister of economic development and former minister of defense Irakli Okruashvili has resigned from government without any explanations. Imho that’s quite expected step and I don’t understand why “the whole government was in shock”. This man is considered to be one of the most influential Georgian politicians. And of course first or last he would oppose present President. Another thing amuses me.
Georgia pretends to be European country and probably to join EU in future. But at the same time Americans are meddling actively into Georgian home affairs. It looks like they aren’t satisfied with results of “Rose Revolution” they’ve established in 2003. Saying more particularly they’ve become discontent with their puppet Saakashvili. Miho had come out of US control and seemingly gets more and more insane making aggressive plans regarding neighbor autonomies. May be he’d fancies himself new Napoleon %)
Thus US had sought substitute to Saakashvili. I don’t know how they made their choice but that resembles me some joke. They want to replace one lunatic with more aggressive one! This Okruashvili is main “hawk” among Georgian politicians. And he would gather all radical and most nationalist inclined powers around himself. The war on the North Caucasus would never end.
Now Georgia isn’t the best neighbor Europe would dream of. And if Okruashvili would come to power I’m afraid that we’ll gain one more “hot spot” just at hand.
