Hi, my name is John, I mean, IsaiahFiftyThree. Yes that is a biblical reference, a powerful prophecy about the one who is "cut-off from the land of the living for the transgressions of my people"... the Republicans... just kidding of course. But I'll try to keep the Christianity to a minimum, as I'm here to talk politics.

I've been a Republican since Reagan's first Presidential run, being drawn in mainly by the anti-abortion stance (which is not necessarily a religious view, since a peoples right to protect human life is a human issue). I have six kids in all, and live in Arizona, where I believe our best Senator spells his name Jon, not John... oh well, you can't win 'em all.

Welcome sir. I am in Vegas with 4 kids myself. Glad to have you here. As for using your religious views in a debate...go right ahead. We also have a RELIGION forum category if you wish to opine directly about the subject.

Thanks for joining,

Welcome, good, we have another libertarian to explain to some of our more Republican elements here that libertarianism isn't progressivism...That should be fun dontchathink?

Thanks for all the welcomes!

I love almost all of your signatures, and other funny stuff. But congrats to the Cards fan nonetheless. (You do realize Foley resigned when the heavy IMs came out, but the Dems guy back in the day actually had sex with an under age page and was eventually given a chairmanship. How is that a winning issue for the knowledgable?)

Isaiah 53 is an entire chapter, though I usually go by Isaiah538, which would be the verse 53:8. If you read it you will know. Actually you could read the last few of 52, which should be connected. They say that "he will sprinkle many nations." This is an obvious reference to the High Priest sprinkling the blood of an animal on the people of Israel for forgiveness of sins. The blood of the one for the nations is eternal, to all who trust in it. You asked.

Did my affiliation come out Libertarian? I'm a solid Republican. But I do know that Libertarians are not Progressives.

Liberals don't scare me. My mother is one, so they can be loved.

I WILL be at the Religion forum after the election some time.
