They won't let her talk to the press or voters and now the McCain camp's sending her home to AK to "study". :madlaugh:
Forget whether or not Sarah Palin is ready to be president. She's not even ready to be a candidate for vice president.

maybe she can go back and study with her self purported "redneck" future son in law. What a Jerry Springer circus this whole thing has turned out to be, instead of choosing people who will save our economy.

Joe? Joe? Where are you Joe?
So, where's Joe been lately? I don't see him either.
Hmmm?

Wrong. She spoke in front of a crowd today.
It would be a good thing to study your boss's position on things before going out and misspeaking. It's called being prepared.

Keep up damnit. I know I'm moving too fast, but geez, try at least.
After her "tour" of small town America this weekend with her "canned" speeches, no interviews with the media, no question and answer sessions with voters, she goes back to AK to study........

Keep up with what? Yer BS? Try doing research in what Palin has done before posting falsehoods. It might make you look like you know what yer talking about.

Wrong. She was in WI on the campaign trail and walked through a retail store greeting the voters.

It takes some amazing gall to post this when the candidate you support had a whopping 167 days!!! of actual Senate service on the day he locked up the party nomination. The left is going completely insane in a way I don't think any of us have seen in the past. The attack on Palin over the last week was brutal and yet the left wingnut media hasn't even said boo about Obama's known association with Ayers, a terrorist.
This is looking like 2004 all over again when Dan Rather was completely over the top as a partisan hack. These elite assholes actually think they are in control of the people and even worse, they actually get upset and wonder why the people don't buy what they are selling.
Barack Obama is the Vitavitavegimen of 2008. Barack, you got some splainin' to do? (OMG, did I just make fun of Cuban American's too?)

You have probably noticed this but, the media has become increasingly vicious with each presidential election towards the republican candidate.
This one is over the top though. Smearing a 17 yr old daughter of the VP candidate. If I were a kook fringe leftist, I would be ashamed.

The problem is, the media actually believes it should have some heavily weighted vote in the matter. They don't report, they attempt to direct and sway and it has become completely transparent to everyone but complete left-wing nutjobs and the media itself.

How is what Kyi said wrong? She said they won't let her talk to the press......walking though a mall and greeting people isn't talking to the press.
Like it or not, she is the candidate for vice-president, sooner or later she is going to have to talk to the press....the RNC can't just keep giving the press answers for her.
You may like to vote for someone you know nothing about.......but I don't think there are too many who feel the same as you.
Talk about running scared.
They know that Palin cannot stand up to the heat so they are keeping her sequestered away from those press people who may embarrass her. Some VP to be proud of, eh? Fucking beauty queen.

New GOP Spin: Palin's Not Ready (http://www.jedreport.com/2008/09/new-gop-spin-palins-not-ready.html)
Todd Harris, a GOP strategist who is close to the McCain campaign, says Palin won't be available to the press for about two weeks. His defense? She might make "a mistake." If she goes out and makes a mistake, that is something that [voters will] care about, and that's something that will haunt [McCain] for awhile, so I think this is a smart move.
This has got to be one of the craziest messaging decisions ever: Harris is conceding that Palin's not even ready to be a vice presidential candidate, let alone be president.
I just don't see how they can sustain two weeks of keeping Palin in hiding. Every day the McCain campaign keeps her away from reporters just highlights the fact that they don't think she's ready.
This strikes me as a pretty impressive strategic blunder.
2AV_54517R8
She's supposed to learn in two weeks what took John McCain 26 years in Congress to learn? Who's the fucktard in this equation?
"Not ready" is the new GOP codeword for inexperienced. Two months might help Palin but two weeks ain't gonna cut it.

I think this "left wing media" fake moral outrage thing was a preemptive tactic. No one in the news media, including Fox News, has been given the opportunity to ask her one single question.
She is leaving a vaccum that will certainly be filled by gossip and speculation. If she doesn't go public and set the record straight, people will just assume the rumors are true.

You're reaching again. Kyi said they won't let her talk to the press and THE VOTERS!!
She obviously did speak with THE VOTERS. Or perhaps you haven't been paying attention. Exaggerations by leftists doesn't make your guy look any better and those exaggerations are completely stupid as if preparing is negative and something to look down on. You people ought to practice a bit of open mindedness instead of elitism.
Oh then she is speaking to the press? Well, then nevermind.
Look sooner or later someone is going to have to speak for the McCain campaign....since McCain makes so many gaffes that his advisors spoke up and said John McCain does not speak for the McCcain Campaign.......unless you just want written statements from the RNC.....you know like they hand out in Communist countries?
Like it or not........Palin isn't going to speak, unless she has it written out in front of her.
They won't even let her on Fox. She's doing rallies where she doesn't have to do anything else but make a speech then stand there and look pretty like a beauty queen should while McCain puts everyone to sleep.
No news shows.
No Meet The Press.
No news conferences.
No townhalls.
Yeah. She has executive experience alright. She could be president one day.
And Karl Rove can learn to dance better than a turdblossom.

I don't think that anyone would seriously give any nominee of any party..."study time" to catch up on what they didn't know before running for VP, or President. To do so, implies that the person isn't ready for the office.
She should have been ready for any question by any news outlet on DAY ONE.
They won't even let her on Fox.
Not even Fox? That's bad.

No news shows.
That will wear off pretty quick. I'm sure McCain wil let her come along to a townhall meeting every now and then.
It's pretty bad, when your choice for VP doesn't even know what you stand for and what your policies are. Just goes to show you how he makes decisions.

So I guess you aren't voting Obama then? (Gotta love the old lefty partisan double standard!, Except with Obama we are talking about the Actual POTUS, not the largely insignificant VP.)

Why let her talk we will just wait for Biden to say something stupid or committ plagiarism.
He will and it won't take long.He is also always wrong on foreign affairs.Which would you rather have a woman who does her homework or a goofball like Biden who always is counted on to act stupid?

Check the ear buds and make sure she isn't being fed answers from off stage. It worked for Bush in 2004. It might work again for Palin.

They only let her speak with a script. They have a right leash on her.
They won't let her go on any of the Sunday talk shows.

She might accidentally let on that she's a clueless Bush Neocon by speaking the Bush-speak on the issues and then the jig would be up. Thomas Eagleton anyone?

Check out Palins' Governor debate in Alaska vs. Three men in 2006. IT is being run on CSPAN.............. she smoked them then.
She is very good , and remember, had TV experience.

I saw part of that. She spoke out FOR the bridge she is now claiming to be AGAINST. Flip-flop. Lie. Whatever you want to call it. She isn't what you think she is. She's George Bush in a skirt.
If she's still repeating her convention speech, she's little more than a TiVo with a pretty smile. No one is home, though.

I am certainly glad we are seeing her "smoke" men in a debate. I didn't want to hear any whining about having to treat her differently because she is a woman, or that she should have a little more time because Biden has been around for a long time. She should be ready to take him on, from DAY ONE, just like Hillary would have been, and btw, Hillary would have been doing interviews on DAY ONE.
Anyway, I just didn't want the whole thing to come down to but, but, but.....she has 5 kids !!!!!! I'm over that. That doesn't get you very far with Vladimir Putin, if she should become President, and that is the real problem. I could care less if "she is like the gal next door" since the gal next door isn't President, and isn't going to push any nuclear buttons.
Well, the McCain campaign isn't letting her out to play unless the press treats her "differentially." So much for the even playing field. How sexist is that?
