"We know that Fitzpatrick will be doing astounding things..."
Like laundry in the big house.
This guy has made some of the most egregious errors in judgement that I've ever witnessed, especially with his associations.
I shudder to think who he would give access to the highest Seat in the world.
Instead of bimbos roaming the hall as with Clinton, it would be the Nation of Islam, liars, cheats, crooks, domestic terrorists, radical socialists and wacky racist preachers.
I hope Ahmidinijad will enjoy his stay in the Lincoln bedroom.

Yep because we know that every politician that goes to make a speech and gets their picture taken are close personal friends.
Get real.

Is this the same Kilpatrick that you claimed Obama didn't support?
Is this the same Obama who you said never went to Detroit?
*Hopes Lily doesn't edit my posts for speaking negatively of Obama*

I made my apology for not knowing Obama came to Detroit here (http://www.democracyforums.com/showpost.php?p=260102&postcount=31)

Hmmm, anyone see a pattern with Obama's "associations" yet? Yes yes libs, we know it wasn't Obama himself, just the company he keeps once again. But what's that saying about birds of a feather?

Glen Beck had an expose of Obama tonight. Wow!! Some heavy names mentioned, Alinsky, Ayers, Doren (SP?), all radical socialists, leaning communists.

Yes, he has one "association" after another with people such as these. At a certain point there really is such a thing as guilt by association when all of your associations are GUILTY!
Again, I don't think McCain's a saint, far from it. This isn't so much a knock on Obama as it is on his supporters who view him as some sort of anointed savior. It really is quite ridiculous and frankly, childish. Obama isn't a man to these people, he's a religion and it really does show.

I think that, as much as I don't like McCain, I can safely say that he has no terrorist, or in any way corrupt, friends like Barry Hussein Obama does. He may not be what I want as a president, but as far as I know, his associates are clean!
The main thing I don't like about him is.........never mind. Wrong thread.

I think Doren is the one that married Ayers, and they're both raising the child of another comrade that's spending time in prison.

Keating comes to mind.
Of course! But I was thinking about his attempt at hiding the fact that there are still POWs in Vietnam.

I simply find McCain the lesser of two evils by a small margin. My problem is with the Obama supporters and the unbelievable faith they have in him based on absolutely nothing. Again, it really is childish and it makes me sad that grown people have so little objectivity. Oh well, it isn't kids joining Scientology and it isn't kids joining Obamatology.

WHY should we settle for the lesser of two evils? We deserve better than this....these fuckers were HANDED to us...we had no choice. There are people higher than us doing the choosing, and you know it. This "election" has shown me alot. Look at McCain...some asshole that NOBODY WANTED because of his amnesty bullshit. His campaign was 6 feet under, bury that bitch! Then, all of a sudden, a miracle happens. McCain becomes the Republican Nominee! WTF??? How does this happen in real life? This only happens in fucking Hollywood! And now that Palin is the VP, everybody's going to forget that McCain is going to fuck up this country by giving amnesty to 20 million illegals. Hallefuckinlooya.

The problem stems from apathy (see the freedom cycle in my sig). This is simply the cyclical nature of freedom. As a student of history, it's amazing to me it has lasted this long. Thomas Jefferson himself predicted that the ability of power to corrupt is so great that in order for the people to keep their liberty revolution would be necessary EVERY 20 years! Well, I would say the founding fathers far exceeded their wildest dreams.
Lucky for us, if 10% of the population become motivated enough to get off their asses and fight for their liberty, we have a chance to reset the freedom cycle. This was the number necessary during our first revolution. You don't need half because 1 motivated man/woman willing to fight for their rights is worth 20 apathetic government teat sucklers. Right now we are at about 6%. So all we can do is try to make as many people wake up to this reality as possible and bide our time. For those who are too far gone, fuck 'em. They are going to wake up in an America they don't recognize one way or another. The only question is will it be as a free person terrified of their freedom or as a slave?
