I don't watch TV all that much. I am a fan of Lost though. It is the only show that I have to watch. I record it on my DVR, and will sit and watch several episodes when I have the time.

I do like House, and ocassionally watch Glenn Beck, and the Law and Order shows.

During football season I watch Inside the NFL, and the football games. For Christmas I was given the Chappelle season 1 DVD, and I really enjoyed that. I went and bought season 2.

Sports and ESPN are probably #1.

I watch a lot of cartoons because of my son. I like Law and Order SVU and Criminal Intent.

I'd have to say my favorite show (and luckily my wifes) is Heroes!

Pres, for some reason I think you would get a real kick out of the old "Spanky and Our Gang" (the early years) if they are available. You kinda remind me of the character called "Uh-huh........"

Just fooling with ya. In some ways, you also remind me of Buckwheat.

Frasier is the only TV show I made sure not to ever miss (my DVD collection of the series is nearly complete!). Gene Simmons' Family Jewels is still one of my favs, though it's lost the air of authenticity it had in Seasons 1 and 2. Overhaulin' is another I try to catch.

Other than those, I'm not much of a TV watcher, and when I do watch, it's entirely random channel-surfing. I've randomly enjoyed:

Lou Dobbs
Man vs Wild
VH1's Behind the Music
The Apprentice
CSPAN, CSPAN3, etc.
History, Learning, Discovery
Home Improvement
TCN (aka "The Comedy Network": MSNBC, Fox, CNN, CNBC, etc.)

Old TV shows I'd make time to watch if TVLand ever brought them back:

The Mod Squad
The Bionic Woman
The Avengers
Love! American Style
The Carol Burnett Show
The Flip Wilson Show
The Electric Company
H.R. Puffinstuff

He was being punished for some crap he pulled when he was alive, right?
I had a feeling he used to be a misogynist or something because in every episode he ended up in a dress being mistreated my sexist men.

Yeah, it's too SOMETHING now. Maybe the kids are too old, they don't need Mom and Dad in the same way anymore but something is different. It used to be a lot better.

Agreed. And I think "contrived" might be the word. :-) The first two seasons seemed more genuine in terms of events that occurred in their lives; it now seems as if events are being created artificially, along with all ensuing interactions.

I will say that the Gene Simmons Roast has been the best show of the entire season; I was shocked, shocked! I tell you, that it was as sharp and funny as it was. I attribute it to the comedians being mandated to keep it fairly clean, forcing them to come up with genuine humor - as opposed to their usual and depraved Comedy Central roast-style jokes (i.e. "her c*nt smells like fish. Isn't that just soooo funny?") that we saw with the Pam Anderson/Bob Saget roasts. Lisa Lampanelli really impressed me - she can be an outstanding insult comic when forced to keep things PG-13; if allowed to go full-tilt, she's one of the most vile, revolting comics I've ever witnessed.

LMAO..........if ever there was a born and bred instigator and stinker it has to be you!!! C'mon, admit it, you love to stir the pot.

One of my old time favorites back in the day was the Dean Martin Roast...........especially when Sammy Davis Jr was on.

Any new shows that look promising to anyone?

Man, that first episode was great, really captured the imagination. I could go on endlessly about that one, two part episode, but after that, I thought they really dropped the ball.
