Ok, let us first look at the oath of office, shall we?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oath_of_office

All U.S. officials swear in under an oath, or affirmation to uphold, enforce and protect the United States Constitution. That Constitution includes the Bill of Rights as its first, and necessary amendments before this government could be "ratified" or made valid by the people of the nation.

To violate this oath, is to commit high crimes, or treason.

Now, the republicans have consistenly acted to limit the individual rights of people in these fashions:

1) regarding self-ownership, mainly including the right of women to choose abortion in defense of their value of life, their pursuit of happiness.
2) regarding self-ownership, mainly including prohibition of consumption of various concoctions, both man made and natural, from alchohol (repealed) to drugs, both prescription and non-prescription. (illegal drugs, and legal drugs in the form of natural supplements, etc.)
3) regarding the growing of government BEYOND necessity, and laying that debt upon the public, without their general conscent through a variety of new forms of taxation, up to and including income tax and its use in corporate welfare, or wealth redistribution. (bailing out private business with public money)

The democrats have consistently acted to limit the individual rights of people in these fashions:

1) regarding the right of self-defense, up to and including claims of selective interpretation of the 2nd amendment.
2) regarding the right of self-ownership, mainly including prohibition of consumption of various concoctions, both man made and natural, from alchohol (repealed) to drugs, both prescription and non-prescription.
3) regarding the growing of government BEYOND necessity, and laying that debt upon the public, without their general conscent through a variety of new forms of taxation, up to and including income tax and its use in public welfare, medicare, social security, and a huge variety of other programs at state and federal levels. (bailing out private business or individuals with public money)

The obvious issue here is that both Republicans and Democrats are using the force of law, to remove the rights of their political enemies, as well as all those NOT represented by EITHER party, when they are explicitly charged, and sworn to uphold the very rights they are creating legislation, voting in support of, and passing unconstitutional bills into law.

Regardless of partisan alignment, the first duty of all Americans is to assure the government live up to its SWORN obligations, regardless of partisan intrests, policy opinions, etc.

ITS TIME THE AMERICAN PEOPLE COME TO GRIP WITH THESE FACTS, and start dealing with the real problem... your government has become the single biggest threat WORKING AGAINST your intrests if your intrests include the freedom provided by the logic, reason and emodiement of individual rights and U.S. constitutional law.

I could also site several other instances where both parties have worked together, to remove the rights of the people in the name of compromise....
from the removal of habeus corpus, to the wholesale sell-out of your right to privacy through delayed warrant, or warrantless searches.

The partisanship of this forum clearly illustrates the blindness with which both "sides" represented deal with these issues of constitutional treason, hypocrisy, or high crimes.... almost exclusively through denial, with no substantive proof to support any such denial.

AMERICANS, where are your priorities? Is it not time to pull yourselves together, instead of being driven apart through bi-partisan designed ploys to split your votes AMONGST THEMSELVES?

Is it not obvious both parties are working against fair elections, equal ballot access laws, vote reform?

Lastly, all those not represented by these parties, you are all victims of the crimes of both of these parties...... what is it you intend to do about this if this affects you? Do you even know your rights of what you CAN do about this?

This is a call to common sense people, and any poster with sincerity and intellectual honesty, I beg you to respond......

The time for inaction has passed, if it ever could be rationally explained. The threat to you, your children, their children is quite clear through the path of history when corrupt government is allowed to flourish unchecked.

“Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; when it dies there, no Constitution, no Law, no Court can save it...Where do you stand Citizen?”
-Judge Learned Hand (1961)

The republic is a vanished dream, Osborn.

You are a man waking in the morning, shaking the sleep from your head, recalling a beautiful dream of freedom, but looking around at the POW camp you occupy...

It's only dead because a bunch of ignorant sheep believe the lies of the politicians, and their political parties.

Like Osborn, I want these people to understand why they are my enemies.

In my opinion, there is no mare valid reason to hate somebody that to hate people who are working to enslave you.

To the extent there is any validity to that rhetoric...the real problem is that most Americans don't care about government. Most aren't aware of how the American government even works. Most citizens don't know how many senators represent them...who they might be, or who their congressperson is. Most couldn't tell you how long their terms of office are...who the last vice president is...what the line of succession is after president...when the Revolutionary War was fought...how laws are passed...or how social security taxes get paid. Most Americans don't know where foreign countries are, what political systems run them, what the difference between a Republic and a Democracy is...or when the Spanish American War was fought. For that matter...the majority couldn't tell you what decade the Vietnam war ended...and for SURE..couldn't explain the "Monroe Doctrine." Most Americans who voted Democrat four years ago couldn't tell you who the Democrat VP nominee was in the last election... And you guys think Americans share your hatred for the government based on the fact you don't like the drug laws and you think Bush is stupid. LOL! You are all just as clueless as "most Americans."

Thanks for adding to the debate Easy......now, back on topic....

Wow, as usual, the silence is deafening.

I guess the is nobody to refute you since you made them mad, and they put you on ignore.

Really Osborn, why don't you just let them lead the sheep to slaughter?

If the sheep could be lead to slaughter without their elected criminals directly robbing from me, I would.

If this is true, it is only because he lives side by side with WEAK Americans who do not
stand up for what is right !!!!!

The good of this country came from strong men that did not give in to political oppression!

Osbourne thanks for pointing this out, AGAIN to everyone here.

This thread reminds me of the movie Idiocracy. If you haven't ever watched that movie I suggest you do, just so you can get a feel for where the world is headed. :ecstatic:

You are welcome NoMoreDems-Reps, but I do hate to be thanked for pointing out the obvious..... as necessary as it may be.

I have watched it, and as silly and extreme as it is, its not that far off unless people force themselves to wake up before the devolution is too far gone, if its not already.

I have noticed that you can spell things out for people 100's of time and they still won't get
it. You have to keep re-stating the same thing in different ways until you come across a
way that's simple enough for them to understand. And some people just don't like to come
to terms with the fact that they have been fooled, but in private they do catch on!

So keep it up !
Cheers
