In the meantime take some advice - practice on those logic puzzles contained in the LSAT. They're a BITCH! Even when you can do the blasted things, doing them in the small amount of time allotted is a frigging NIGHTMARE! The rest of the LSAT is a breeze in comparison! Take some prepatory courses that focus on those logic puzzles. You won't be sorry you did on test day.

What I guess I want to know is whether he has a legitimate job, or if he's being reticent because he's a bit ashamed of what he does. Really. He's suddenly being "buddy-buddy" with everyone, and it's a bit like when an attorney says "I'm just an old country lawyer," you know it's time to keep a tight hold on your wallet.

Not at all. I already have my AA but then I stalled out trying to figure out where I wanted to go. I thought about journalism, political science, education, law, theatre, culinary arts and a lot of others.
I settled on nursing when I took my current job as a caregiver for an elderly couple. I am not going back to medical school, I am going back to start medical school. As to when, I don't know. I was thinking in January, but I'm not sure. Maybe next fall. It depends on my little sister and when is best for her, and when they would be offering the classes I need.

Word up to a fellow geek who knows what BBS and Gopher mean. I was running around undernet flooding admins as a young lad and running from the FBI with colorado tape backups as an even younger one. Now I'm a professional programmer.. for the light side of the force. Shout out to all the other retired EagleSoft/NatoSoft crew.

In fact I DO know because I remember the thread where you bragged about it. I remember a number of other threads where you bragged about a host of other things. Why? Stoner said that Canada was the 51st state. As a Canadian who lives in an absolutely terrific country, I said, 'in your dreams'. As in, "only in your dreams would Canadians accept being part of the US".
'Course, if Stoner lived here, he wouldn't have to worry about being labeled a criminal to do his favourite activity. Canada's a very liberal country and we believe in individual rights, so we don't prosecute folks for smoking up.

I logged on in 1994 and never managed to work out how to log off. :D The state of the "net" in those days is how I managed to become so much of a Linux geek. I had a console account with my provider which I later discovered was a Unix box. Ah I remember fondly pine, tin, lynx, and playing text MUDs until the early hours.
As for programming, I did learn some 6502 and Z80 machine code back in the day, but 16 bit CPUs did my head in a bit when they came out. C++ etc don't do it for me like machine did.
Think of it like this: mess is a different type of order.
Got my mum through my todler days...
Such wisdom! Now, if I can only convince the wife. I always lose things and my excuse is that it must have been "cleaned up" from my organised chaos :D
Just shorting the dollar on the right days, eh? *cough* 9/11 *cough*
I was trading Gold back then. Even though 9/11 was a major event, it didn't cause much more than a blip in the currency markets anyway.
Stocks were a different matter. Shall we talk about the *cough* record put option volume on American Airlines just before? *cough*
