24 Hour A Day Curfew In Arkansas Town, Constitution Be Damned

So, you think the notion of an American police state is far off? Think again. Arkansas is now joining the likes of D.C. and Chicago with some of the strictest martial law Constitutional violations to date. Generally I don't like the ACLU, but for once they can actually do some good:

These people are fully justified in an armed revolt against these obvious violations of their Constitutional Rights.

I am not ready to pick up arms yet, but its obvious I have more patience than some.

If I were living in that city, I would either leave before this started after selling off my property, or I would be forced to pick up arms if my rights weren't being recognized by local law enforecement.

Well, people ready to pick up arms have to realize there will certainly be consequences regardless of being morally justified. The government simply has to realize that at a certain point many people will weigh these consequences vs the chance to be free and they will pick up their guns anyway.

That's how a rag-tag bunch of colonists defeated the greatest empire on the planet at the time. No one fights harder than a man who is directly fighting for his own freedom.

Put it this way, if not for the 2nd Amendment I doubt most Americans alive today would have ever even heard of the Constitution kind of like most people in China have no clue the Tienanmen Square Massacre ever happened.

A population of about 6,200 people doesn't stand much of a chance at stopping the police armed with military weapons from doing whatever they (police) want to do. I doubt that all of the citizens are armed either. This is a nice sized little town to float a trial baloon, see how they re-act, see how the rest of the country re-acts.
Remember Waco? How did the country re-act to that gov't "takeover"? Most didn't seem to give a damn, nor will they care about this small town in Arkansas. It's a shame but it is now the tail wagging the dog, & has been for some time, IMO.

No, the government is your friend. It only has your best interests at heart and it needs to protect people from themselves. They also know how best to spend the money you earned so they need to take it from you by force. Thankfully, they will then provide for you from the cradle to the grave so you have nothing to worry your little minds about. Just keep watching American Idol and voting for either the "Leftist Party" or if you don't like that party you can always vote for the "Far Leftist Party." You see, Democracy in action!

The government also knows how you should act. It will tell you what you can say, who you must allow onto your private property and who you must accommodate. They also know what's best for you to put into your body as well so let them worry about all that hard stuff and don't burden your silly little walnut with boring govmint business.
