The woman commissioned by the Democratic Party to direct its presidential nominating convention in two weeks espouses the same black liberation theology pursued by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose church presumptive nominee Barack Obama was forced to leave because of its controversies.

Those included Wright's condemnation of America and a vicious attack on Hillary Clinton from the pulpit, and WND reported when, finally, the Obama campaign announced the candidate resigned his 20-year membership in the church.

Now a profile in the New York Times reveals Rev. Leah Daughtry, a Pentecostal minister who leads a congregation of 20 in Washington, embraces "black liberation theology" beliefs such as the "debt" the U.S. "owes" all blacks for slavery.

So now I owe money to someone whose ancestor was a slave even though I had nothing to do with slavery? Great. I don't owe sh*t to anyone and I take exception to people who say I do. :blah:

Blacks have been being compensated for slavery for decades, it's called, "welfare".

The democrats are just suffering from guilt. They are the party that favored slavery. The dems have always been about race, and creating racial tensions, and they continue this today. Now they want to advocate reparations?

And I thought Republican meetings were pissing me off. It looks like I'd go loo-loo in the Democrats' too!

Blacks have been being compensated for slavery for decades, it's called, "welfare".Do you have a link that proves that blacks get welfare checks merely for being born black?

That is what you are saying, I take it.

Obviously this self proclaimed minister of the Gospel clearly doesn't interpret scripture well. Nowhere in the bible will you find that people are guilty of their ancestral sins. The bible clearly teaches we are guilty of our own personal sins.

Yeah, I'm sick of hearing blacks cry about how they should get money because their great great great grandfather was a slave. Seriously, it's time to move on and quit bitching and moaning about everything in your life. Let's look forward and focus on the important issues.

In case no one has figured it out this is nothing more than a ploy to wrap up the black vote.

My family wasn't even here during the time of slavery so I don't owe jack shit. Seriously, let's look at reality. I spent a year in Tanzania with Humana out of college. Blacks in America have more opportunity and more freedom than blacks anywhere else in the world. They should thank their lucky stars their ancestors were brought here just like I am thankful the rise of the Nazi's forced my grandparents to come to America.

Then again, if you are a Democrat you live to buy votes with taxpayer money so if it wasn't giving money to blacks it would be for single moms, kids with crappy names, or any other number of bullshit guilt causes which allows them to buy a vote. Funny, it's illegal for me to sell my vote to anyone but a politician. What a racket.

For what it's worth the best to get reparations would've been right after slavery was abolished, not in the 21st century.
