It would be great to find descendants of these giants (if there were in fact human giants 14 feet tall!!!) to see how the families have evolved.

You have to wonder if the giants were killed because of their size.

The Bible speaks about the giants Nefilim.

From Genesis:

After the sons of God took human wives there were giants in the Earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became the mighty men which were of old, men of renown. The Nefilim were upon the Earth, in those days and thereafter too, when the sons of the gods cohabitated with the daughters of the Adam, and they bore children unto them.
