I'm supprized that I haven't seen or hear too much about this in mainstream
media? It's of great importance to the Public and it should get high ratings?

It's a joke. Has no chance of passing.
If you want to know why approval is so low, this is a perfect example.

But that was more than two years ago. An impeachment then would have made great sense. At this point, I'm perfectly willing to let the wheels of justice grind at their normal slow pace. We don't need another distraction between now and November.

We owe it to all the soldiers fighting the War in Iraq ! If they are there because
Bush & Cheney lied, we should get them back home safely and punish all thoughts that
are responsible for sending our soldiers off to die without just cause !
Do you think it's just "a distraction" to thoughs with lost love ones ?

I watched part of the proceedings on C-SPAN. It is interesting, but should have been done three years ago. There isn't a chance that congress is going to impeach at this point. What congress could do, is what someone who testified before them suggested: take advantage of this time to pass a whole slew of laws to stop the next president. To stop Barack Obama from the war he wants to start in Pakistan. To stop John McCain from starting a war with Iran. And to end the signing statements that allow a president to tell congress and the American people we can shove the laws, he'll do what he wants. To make sure every president and member of the CIA and the FBI, and the military understand that torture is illegal. That the president can't arrest and keep people without charges. That will do.

Once any legal procceedings take place the "Process" might snow ball it to a trial !
If nothing happens then American will see just how corrupt the system is !
