FOX News has reached the 10th year mark. As the No.1-ranked cable news network, it has given other networks, especially CNN, a run for their money. FOX News' tremendous success seems to only polarize the country even more, as people either love it or hate it. I don't have the full cable so I never watch it. But I know a lot of people consider it a right-wing network and a mouthpiece for the current administration. Well, are other news network are "fair and balanced"? I guess not. Take a look of ABC News. Their weekend show "This Week" is hosted by George Stephanopoulos, a Democrative political operative. Their anti-terror analyst is, Richard Clarke, a political opportunist and strong critic of the Bush administration. You can see the same lineups for NBC and CBS. Well, if FOX is right-winged, I guess it does serve to balance the overall left-leaning media.
Love to hear why you hate or love FOX News.

While the op-ed segments on the network are definitely right leaning, the actual news reporting really does seem to be fair and balanced.
I don't get my news from television. Call me old-fashioned. I read publications for that. Television is for entertainment or watching baseball.

I think you can say that about almost every so called "news channel". They all report the news. It's the so called "news magazine" shows that give the program it's left or right title.

IMO it got this label, because for the most part FOX is the channel of choice for this administration to give interviews on.

Sorry bout that,
1. But FOX News is Fantastic!
2. I think it perhaps too fair, and too balanced.
3. I want it to be more Conservative leaning.
4. But at lest they broadcast both sides.
5. Which when you have to hear the lefts side on FOX, it is kinda funky.
6. But they let them rant on, but then counter it, this is when sanity kicks in.
7. Yeah is great, I pay an extra 10 bucks for it, but its worth every penny.

I don't watch cable news all that much but during the day Fox is my favorite at night 7-9pm CNN and CNN headline prime.
You know, I have to admit to watching Fox. Rita Cosby drives me totally insane. I can't even stand just having her on and listening to her voice....what the hell were they thinking, when hiring her? Tucker Carlson is an opionated ass. His one minute "hot topics" was cute when it was new, but now I think of it as news for the attenion defeciet disorder. Ever since Dan Abrams became the head of MSNBC, all night long there are prison stories......someone has to tell him, he no longer works for Court TV and works for a news station. I try to at least watch O'Reilly.......so I know the latest talking point the right is going to use.....and as I said above.......they are the station that this administration will go on to give "interviews".......but when there is a news breaking story, like today with the airplane crash......I switch back and forth.
How else are you going to stay well rouned, if you don't hear both sides?
