My youngest sister who will be 52 in August...wants to thank you all for paying for her hysterectomy that was performed yesterday.
Since she left the nest at the age of...18 she has not held a job more than 6 months...has not had health insurance since she was too old to be covered by our parents. You paid for her 2 children when they came into this world....then you allowed her to live rent and utility free and provided her with food for about 16 years. She has had 2 trips to the womens prison for drugs, check fraud etc...where you once again gave her a place to live and 3 squares a day.

What's the state of our bill on the children so far, if i may be so bold as to ask?

More republican propaganda.
Stories made up to piss off the greedy ignorant of our society.
Trolling is a good term.....

Actually its a factual representation of what the left wants to call those left out in the cold by our health care system since they are not covered by health insurance.
So, I take it your sister is not one of the family favorites? And yes, what is the condition of care of her children?

Sounded like the sad story of a real family to me, filled with bitterness and acceptance. I have a bit of that going on in corners of my family as well, so I'm familiar with it.

Actually she is covered by health insurance - government provided.

And by spreading this one would think half of America is on the dole (of whom at least half or maybe the majority of are republicans by the way)
All this is propaganda, a diversion away from the trillions we pay in corporate welfare. Typical righ wing tactic, point the accusing finger at the small time abuser and away from their own big time larceny.
You guys fall for it every time.
How pigheaded is it anyway to point at the less fortunate and pout about how they're taking a little bit of YOUR stuff....when you have plenty. Didn't your knidergarten teacher ever teach you to share and have a little compasion?

So is every government employee out there, most of whom do nothing....including your senators and congressmen.

Yea, and we certainly can't have that now can we...only wealthy corporations and people are allowed to rape and pillage.
Can ya tell I've about had it with the republican hate machine tearing this country apart?
Traitors...all of ya.....

Her eldest daughter 31...has given custody of her kids to her husband (one of which is not even his child).
The youngest daughter 25 has had 4 pregnancies with 3 live births...the last one born with severe birth defects(from her and fathers drug use). He was never allowed to go home with them. As of now all 3 are in state custody in the Chicago area. At this time the cops have warrants on her...looks like she will do a stint in prison also.
A sad, sad situation for the kids.
And we have paid for all of the above....you guys with your tax dollars....us with heartache!
The kids are welcome anytime....sister and their parents...not welcome.

We don't have enough information to call this woman an abuser. We don't know if she is physically and/or mentally incapacitated.
My point exactly.
OK, I understand you now. She's part of the 'left behind' that the government has to step in for.
I think that we have to in some way.
At one point I paid almost 50% in taxes and I never bitched. Because I was blessed to make so much money running my mouth (sales) and I didn't mind putting a roof over the head of someone who couldn't even get by if they tried their hardest all day every day.
Maybe it's selfish. I have no desire to walk through streets filled with homeless people dying in front of me, open wounds (public health issue) and all of that.
I know it's incongruous with my libertarian leanings; I have not yet figured out how to reconcile absolutely everything yet.........
I just know inside that it's disgusting to be so rich (our nation) and for any human to starve or be without basic shelter/medical attention.
I am not speaking to the loafers and the scammers. There are people who can't string a thought together due to mental illness.
So we care for them or kill them, and the latter seems a bit cruel. Many (most?) can return to being productive with meds and therapy and a secure base from which to start.
Same for single parents or an adult in a temporary crisis. Most get off the dole when they get to a better place. I'm not in favor of tossing them all out due to the minority that abuse it.

No she is not physically or mentally handicapped....just stupid.
The truth is she finds it easier to live off t others. It has always amazed me that she always has someone to take her in and support her for time....she moves from place to place. She is very street smart.

Oh, no.........I want to thank YOU.........seems if her family would have helped her, and/or paid her medical bills, we wouldn't have to.....so a hearty THANK YOU!

My bad, I had missed some posts.
*put diagnosing cap on* maybe she is sociopathic. Or one of the other personality disorders that share the same traits of others merely being 'a means to an end'.

Sounds like some more hysterectomies would be a good use of taxpayer money.

It seems to me this lady is quite lost. I hope she finds her way in life that is respectable before it's too late.

Help her? We did....we paid for 2 abortions...we even paid to have her neutered, gave her a place to live rent free......helped her find a job(never lasted)....then she would disappear...taking things of value from us to hock. This has been going on all of her life...we finally gave up.
She broke our parents heart and nearly destroyed them financially....she drove Mom to an early grave! I will not forgive her this time.
