Thank you for recognizing one more, out of many candidates, who deserve a sub-forum under the Presidential Election 2008 Thread.

Now all thats left is:

The Green Party Candidate:
The Constitution Party Candidate:
The Independence Party Candidate:
The Independent American Party Candidate:
The Moderate Party Candidate:
etc, etc, etc, etc,
http://www.politics1.com/parties.htm

I doubt we will ever see a forum so non-biased though, and your attempts to become less biased are obvious and appreciated, by letting more candidates be honestly represented to the American People, and our foreign contributors, and helping to get their names out on a level field with the popular candidates.

If only the bi-partisan network media were so equally represented........ :shame:

Again, thank you Democracy Forums for having the courage to do what so many website debate forums, and national media stations don't.

Thanks! We do try to our best to be welcoming to everyone.

though you're right on the others. It's never been an issue of bias, it's balancing demand vs. activity vs. clutter. Having 4 subforums isn't going to interfere with anything, but having 10, of which only 2 or 3 get real use, would clutter up the candidate list with people most, including myself, don't even know who they are.

After the lack of activity in the Barr section I doubt that, based on activity alone, it's warranted, but given that some people really want it, and it makes us appear more open and welcoming, it's worth adding. Who knows, maybe we'll get a few Nader people.

Hmmm....the American Patriot Party looks very attractive indeed.

Oh, and I echo Os' sentiments - the fairness effort is appreciated by we fairness nuts.

Well, thats the reason I am thanking you.

Most people have nowhere to turn to get non-biased political information. You having sub-forums like this allows people to INFORM THEMSELVES on who all the candidates are, instead of the false "two-party choice" the major media presents.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying all posters here are non-biased, but the sub-forums allow people to post links to where interested people can find out information on candidates who are not Republicans or Democrats, that is non-biased or from the source.

Don't vote for the lesser of two evils..... there are many other choices that aren't affiliated with evil, you just have to know about them and support them.

Again, mega thanks to Democracy Forums, you could be starting to set a new trend for all political forums to notice and aspire to, and I hope it continues. ;)
