I stated in another thread that police officers (not armed security hired by Jeffs privately, actual government LEO who are also FLDS members and obey HIM) actually assisted in the illegal activities of the FLDS in Colorado City.
That women and children desiring to leave had no way to, when police would turn them back over to their husbands or fathers.

It doesn't directly address turning women back, but it does verify that the FLDS police members used their government granted power to enforce Warren Jeffs rules instead of the laws of the city, county and state.
It does show how deep this CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE runs.
