The Comeback Id
Old friends and longtime aides are wringing their hands over Bill Clinton’s post–White House escapades, from the dubious (and secretive) business associations to the media blowups that have bruised his wife’s campaign, to the private-jetting around with a skirt-chasing, scandal-tinged posse. Some point to Clinton’s medical traumas; others blame sheer selfishness, and the absence of anyone who can say “no.” Exploring Clintonworld, the author asks if the former president will be consumed by his own worst self. The Whole Enchilada (http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/features/2008/07/clinton200807)

Depends. It's classier to do it in the oval office, but it doesn't scream desperation like Craig's bathroom antics do. Also, at least Clinton knew who he was having sex with.

I hear that IF Hillary gets in, Bill is going to modify the Lincoln Bedroom with an escape hatch under the bed, that leads to the back door.

Well, Hillary needs someone worthy of her. It's nice to see Bill helping her out that way. It's not fair that all she gets is Bill, she's deserves better.

First I was going to say "off topic" but for some reason I'm reminded of similar phrases like, "Is the Pope Catholic?" and "Do bears s**t in the woods?". :)

I really hope you're not serious. I like to believe that not *all* men are pigs.

Also in attendance was Ron Burkle, the California supermarket billionaire and investor who is Clinton’s bachelor buddy, fund-raiser, and business partner. Burkle had come with an attractive blonde, described by a fellow guest as “not much older than 19, if she was that.”

Fucking gross!

So if consentual sex makes a man a pig, does it make a woman a slut?

I've seen how women talk about sex and men...and most of that talk would make any man blush.......don't pull that "holier than thou" shit with me.

Why is there a question mark after this title? A leopard doesn't change it's spots, and Bill Clinton doesn't change his ways.

No, consensual sex doesn't make a man a pig - adultery with a woman less than half your age does, though.

You can't put all women in one category, either. :) I think you may be watching too many previews for Sex And The City: The Movie.

If the man was 30 and the girl was 15, I would agree with you......but in this case, they were both consenting adults.

I'm sorry Lily, I have to disagree. In my last job, if I had sex with an 18 year old intern in my office, I would have been fired so fast I wouldn't have time to say, "but she let me." Consensual would never even enter into it.

In addition, for a person in authority to have sex with an intern is the very definition of a violation of Title VII. It is sexual harassment, clear cut and dried.

All the excuses being made then and now for Clinton are just that... excusing and enabling behavior that would have gotten anyone else sued, fired and ostricised.

IMO,
2 consenting adults should be able to have as much sex as they want.
If its a 20 year old man and a 50 year old lady.. its legal.
If they get caught having it at work.. then.. they pay the consequences.

They can't be punished by there place of employment for doing something off the job together..

As a woman, don't you see something wrong with someone like Bill Clinton, the most powerful man in the world, having sex with a 21-year-old intern? What kind of conversations do you think they had? Do you think they could even relate to each other on any level whatsoever?

Maybe I'm crazy for thinking you should at least respect the person you're having a secret affair with?

Sometimes I really hate being a girl. Some men just view women as being their sex toys, and it's disgusting to me!

But then again, some women (like Monica) submit to that ... so there are two sides of blame.

The whole thing simply gave credence to the charges being made against the POTUS at the time...from several women...one of whom said she was summoned to the Governor's office to meet him....escorted there by an Arkansas trooper...and at that meeting, Bill unzipped his pants and requested oral sex.... Then there was another one of his supporters who said he simply raped her, giving her a black eye in the act...and his parting words to her were: "Better put some ice on that."

His wife, Hillary...helped organize the "Bimbo Eruptions" squad during the election...and called the rumors that Bill was a skirt chaser..."a vast right-wing conspiracy." And George Carvelle, his handler said at first, that these women were just trailer trash...then, after the sploodge laden blue dress was produced..."It's just about sex!"

Ah...I miss the Clintons. I was hoping Hillary would somehow pull it out...so to speak.

And women who simply want to have sex with powerful men, and spend extensive time chasing after them, aren't using the men either?

As long as everything is spelled out beforehand, I don't see the problem with men or women using each other as sex toys. The problem is when one deceives the other.

Hmm... Well, I think you are setting the "women's equality movement" back a few decades with that. Recalling the HR "sexual harassment" seminars we all got back in the 80s I seem to recall that people in a position of power and/or authority are guilty of grievous wrongdoing if they use there positions of power to sexually approach, or otherwise engage in relationships with those below them in their "chain of command." It's assumed that an underling is coerced in such a relationship...

But it does remind me of a "Ron White" joke in which he recalls being fired from his first job in a "pickle factory" for putting his finger in a "pickle slicer." He adds, after a hesitation..."Oh, she was fired too!....We BOTH got fired!"

But you would assume, as an educated man in a powerful, respected position, you would know better than to succumb to the sex appeal of a chubby 21-year-old internt.

If you can't resist women coming on to you, you probably shouldn't be in that kind of position, because you are clearly lacking common sense!

I see a problem with men and women using each other for sex ... I think it's empty and shallow. Maybe I'm just naive.

But you do have a point.

"SEX" or "LUST" is a natural instinct of the animal "Homo Sapien". A person who only acts based on their animal instincts, is chosing to be no more than an animal.

To exert will-power to control and manage your instincts is to be evolved as something more than just animal.

Take the term "human being". "Human" speaks to the animal Homo Sapien, but the word "Being" implies a state of mind. Everyone is a Human, but you have to develop "charactor" for one to become a "human being".

Far too few of us these days, are chosing to become Human beings.

No, I really don't. I don't think it's any of my business what 2 consenting adults do behind closed doors. I also don't remember in any part of the scandle Monica saying that she was forced to do anything. As for what they had in common, or what they could be discussing.....since she interned in the White House, I would think she would have some knowledge of politics and the world.

Maybe I'm crazy for thinking you should at least respect the person you're having a secret affair with?

How do you know they didn't? Just because you don't like the sex acts that were discussed?

see Troopergate, Juanita Broddrick, Kat Wiley, Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones

he has a history of respecting women guys, Lewinsky was treated fairly well I'm sure
