On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.

Stop picking on the guy just because he got the wrong relative and maybe forgot the name of the camp.... you can't expect him to be accurate about everything!

Given all the Bushisms, he has a LOOOOOONG way to go to top those lol.
Although I have found the Obamaisms funny :)

The funny part about this Obamaism, unlike most Bushisms, is that he seems to have actually written that down on the cards he's reading from.

If he is like some people I know though, they only write down the basic subjects of what they want to talk about and improvise around that. This could be where he is making much of his mistakes from.

Obama's site removed the line:
Senator Obama delivered these remarks (as prepared) today in Las Cruces, New Mexico...
On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes, our sense of patriotism is particularly strong. Because while we gather here under open skies, we know that far beyond the Organ Mountains – in the streets of Baghdad, and the outskirts of Kabul – America’s sons and daughters are sacrificing on our behalf. And our thoughts and prayers are with them.

LOL!!!
Not as bad as making up a story about sniper fire or bringing up assassination ... but it's a little tid bit for the Obama haters.

Did they have it there and then remove it? If so you'd be telling the truth about this.
Most likely that was the written speech and he ad libbed the part about seeing the audience. So the speech on the site is as it was written.
So nothing was removed, it was just his ad lib was not added.
Keep trying though, I think you'll wait a long time before he makes up fake stories and says outrageous things about assassination.
