Is it time for Hillary to bow out?
as if there needs to be further indication:
WASHINGTON — A California congressman who is co-chair of Hillary Clinton's National Hispanic Leadership Council has defected and pledged his support to Barack Obama, Clinton's rival for the Democratic presidential nomination.
The defection came as a new poll showed that Obama would handily defeat John McCain in California in November_ and do so by a larger margin than Clinton would.

Finally, an honest poll!
Congrats tecoyah!
Voted no.
She, according to her, has more votes than Obama...Why should she bow out?
I want to see her stay in and bring a floor fight to the Democrat convention in Denver.
You go girl!

I think she should stay in it all the way until November, just so Florida's votes can finally count. :madlaugh:
We don't even need to waste money on conventions this year!
When James Carvelle starts supporting Obama, I'd say it is time for Hillary to quit........but I still voted no. If she still wants to campaign and spend more of her personal money to do it, who am I to tell her to stop?

I hope she gets the nomination. It's going to hillarious to watch Al and Jesse go bezerk.

Of course she should drop out. But it's not my place to tell her so, and she has a perfect right to stay in the race. I'm not voting in this little poll simply because so many other people are giving their authoritative opinions. But I do enjoy preserva's puny attempts to keep on spreading his sparse serving of chaos.

I won't vote if she does get it.

I won't vote if she does get it.
I would, but I'd have to hold my nose. There is, however ZERO likelihood that she'll win the nomination.

And with that I will end up going to the polls come November.

Of course... This "more votes" CRAAAAAAAP is the only peg leg she has to stand on and its rotten to the core.
She agreed to abide by the DNC rules, signed a statement to that affect. She broke 'em and now expects the votes to be used and the rules to be rewritten for her. I'm sorry for the voters SHE and the Democratic parties of FL and MI, disenfranchised... but that responsibity is on HER shoulders, no one elses. Blame them, not the DNC.
I'm also sorry she feels she is entitled to the Presidency simply because she is the wife of Bill Clinton, counting on the residual warm fuzzies many Democrats have from the success of his term during the '90's.
I could not be more for a woman as CIC and hope to see it happen in my lifetime... But, she is not the woman. Her negative baggage far outweighs any positives she may have achieved on her own steam.

I voted no. It is a free country. I really don't care anyway, our next prez is going to be a liberal regardless.

I don't feel disenfranchised at all. I was told if I didn't want to vote for Hillary to vote noncommitted. Hell, she didn't win by much and her name was the only one on the ballot.

My two cents: One less socialist in the race is better than an equal number or one more. The LP just nominated Barr, a crypto-neocon, so if RP doesn't go independent, I'm not voting for the office of the presidency this time around.

I may be in the same boat firefox.....
I voted No because I want Barack to keep whipping her ass like a rented mule and then not offer her the VP slot because she pissed him off.
How astounding it was that she 'bowed in' in the first place.
