Teen accused of biting butts at Wal-Mart

Clayton County police have arrested a middle school student and charged him with biting or grabbing the buttocks of at least 10 women at the Lovejoy Wal-Mart.

Capt. Greg Dickens said police believe there are more victims who have failed to report the assaults.

The 15-year-old suspect has been charged with four counts of sexual battery and more charges are expected.

Dickens said complaints of rear-end assaults at the store began in August and continued throughout May.

The boy was interviewed by police Wednesday after a victim saw him with relatives and confronted him, Dickens said.

Two things come to mind. One is "only at Wal-Mart", though the second one is that the women at Wal-Mart always seemed kind of scary.

I wonder if the boy isn't mildly retarded. The biting especially is just so over the top and inappropriate, I'd almost like to believe this was the case.

Of course another possibility, this is a group activity and this boy is one of the many boys who do it. The article says the incident went on from August to May, with multiple complaints. August-May are school months, maybe a group of kids would periodically go to the Wal-Mart after school, one of them would grab/bite a woman's butt and the group would laugh at the reaction. It's the same mentality as prank calling.
